So there will be another crate of ussr generals added as an iap i am guessing (look at history mode crate near creation of the rsfsr). You will get Tukhachevsky (artillery), Vacietis (infantry), and Frunze being added. All of them are pretty good, vacietis being slightly worse than the others but not by much. So I would also take that into account when deciding to purchase the japanese general pack or other iaps like petain or scheer.
If the crate does happen, you will get an artillery general better than lwao or even foch for that matter (artillery expert >>>>> storm fortifications), an infantry general far better than tanemoto, and as well as a phillip sheridan on steroids.

Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus, in my opinion Boroevic should be blue because the best Infantry units in the game, Old Guards and HMGs (The latter is the best universal Infantry), lack Marching. But if you put Boroevic on them, they will become very mobile. That + their high damage would allow Boroevic to be a very dangerous general.

Give him assault and pierce and he will be a very good general. He can be great on the best units in the game. I will curve him and macmahon up a bit later (macmahon = borevic w. ambush). |

I'm a bit iffy on Mackensen being better than Joffre. I'm still not really a fan of Mountain on cavalry.
