I have 1800 medals, and Lan is not that good for me, should I sell her for kutuzov or another cav general or scharnhorst or maybe a princess?
i have currently Massena, Murat, Lan, Mahmud, and the 4 free generals.

Strange, Lan is supposed to be the 4th best cav gen. She's certainly that for me. The only non-IAP general that's better than her that you don't have is Dabrowski.
It's entirely up to you, but I'd never sell Lan for any of those guys because you'd lose medals and none of those guys are better than her.

No kutuzov is pretty bad. Strange that lan is bad. She should be more like a second murat |

The four free generals are basically unusable at your stage, and Murat+Lan isn’t enough to handle the heat alone. I don’t really recommend getting another infantry general because aura-stacking infantry is much less efficient than aura-stacking cavalry, which you kind of have to do on later campaigns. |

Ok, I now have another question: i have 900 medals, should I save up and get Alexander I, or get Sophia now, or save up for someone else? I am on German empire and my generals are massena, Murat, dombrowski, Lan, Jordan, Gates, Mahmud, and falsen.

I’d personally get Ney because he’s like a 2nd Lan, but you really do lack artillery, in which case you should probably consider Alex, Scharnhorst and John. Alex is an aura and that’s pretty powerful when paired up with Mahmud. The trouble is that he’s not really that much better than other people unless he cripples his mobility by running up mountains. Scharnhorst is just a solid artillery general overall, though without aura. John is more or less strictly better than Sophia for the same price and without sacrificing a pretty darned useful palace ability. He can also get a +50% attack boost on forest mountains, which is really powerful with artillerys high attack. Unfortunately he has a similar problem as Alex. I’d get Scharnhorst myself, due to not being slowed down because he has plain, but it’s a preference thing really. |
