I will say Japan is very good country for S Rank. You have to three fronts from the start but Don't worry, you got a decent economy. Do not focus on USSR first. Leave them alone. Blitzkrieg through Chinese main cities like Perking and Chonking. Focus on Mongolia first. Taking them opens the sweet spot on the under belly of USSR which can be punched super fast. After taking Mongolia, start to counter attack USSR, specially the area which grants you quick passage to Alaska. In this fighting, do not forget of Australia. Fight them. There cities are weak in the islands. Use a part of your Imperial Japanese Navy to support. Retreat from Hanoi. Defending it is futile. Retreat them to Burma and regroup, fight off the British and take the Indians into direct conflict. The third front is USA. No raids. Attack with the your Navy the islands in Pacific. They are very important to hold off there army and Navy of US and build some additional Carriers which will help to bombard cites in USA. Submarine spam is the ideal choice to hold them at bay. You will conquer Australia, use the troops to land in Brazil. Germans will capture Moscow when you start to weaken the USSR economy from within. After conquering Asia, use the troops on Africa and donate Spain and Germany to fight the Americans. It Is easy to capture Cuba. Missile them. Brazil same. Use the nuclear facility in USA at the coast to f@k New York, Washington and other major cities. This is one of the easiest conquests. Took me 49 turns. Used only Messe. Had few Pacific upgrades. Therefore, it is a great country for 1943 S Rank. Japan's pretty nice but I like Romania and USSR better. Also don't play as ROC or Mongolia unless you want to face the Axis spam. The axis spam can be largely avoided if you send a tank general to Europe. I think I made a guide on this country as well using that strategy.

Nope haha. Haven’t played wc4 in ages, well except for the great patriotic war mod Hey ım a newbie with a decent tech and started by only buying vatutin with no upgrades and currently 2900 medals on the bank. Was vatutin a good move? He helped me to get trough cold war and now ım stuck and need a general. Can you please help me who to buy?

Joseph Stalin, welcome to the forum! For a heated conversation on a general path, please visit this website: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/7544/generals-guide-beginners-pathIs Vatutin the only general you have? Or do you have other generals? This forum's consensus on a general strategy is 3 tank generals, 2 artillery generals, and one navy general. For tank generals, you could consider Guderian first, as he's a very good starter even without any upgrades, and his skills are quite useful. Once you get Guderian, you could also get Rommel, if you complete his discount missions first. For artillery generals, you could consider Konev if you've completed his missions, although he does need a few upgrades to reach elite status. If you haven't, then you could also get Leeb first. As for a navy general, those aren't required, but will greatly help you. You could get Nimitz if you've completed his discount missions, or Donitz if you haven't, but don't worry about navy generals for now. Vatutin is probably the 4th best tank general in-game (without any upgrades), but he will eventually be outclassed by the likes of Guderian, Rommel, Graziani, and Rokossovsky (and perhaps Montgomery). Since you've bought him, keep him for now, but once you complete your dream roster you could sell him to finance your other generals. If you're looking for extra medals, don't forget to buy wonders which increase your medal payload on invasions. I hope this helps!

Yes I solely bought vatutin because ı was stuck at the axis 3rd pacific campaign and when I bought him I easily reached cold war and now I bought guderian. By the way should I upgrade my generals rank with gold? Gold is extremely easy to gain in 1939 40 round ussr conquest for me in only one and an half hour.

I dont think vatutin can be outclassed by graziani or maybe rommel when fully upgraded which ı cant to at the moment. Vatutins skills are all good and useful and with armored assault and plain fighting maxed he will be a damage beast. By upgranding his rank with gold I can make him last longer as well. So I have 2 tank generals and should by konev next? Any guide for their discount missions in the library? What should I buy for my legion I tested with light inf and when inf died it disappeared on my legion:( So Should ı get to lvl 30 and make solely super tanks and super artillery to last long?

Joseph Stalin, I'm gonna answer both of your posts in one thread Thread one: Yes, definitely upgrade your generals using Gold, since you can easily earn that amount back. On medal rank upgrades, don't do those until you're basically done skill upgrading your general and you really need more health for them. Thread two: The problem with Vatutin is that he only has four skill slots, plus tide of iron, which isn't very useful. Rommel at his peak can have all of Vatutin's skills minus tide of iron, which you can exchange for any 2 of rumour, blitzkrieg, panzer leader, or even machinist. Assuming you get Graziani a sixth tank star, he can also get two extra skills, including armoured assault, which Vatutin has, plus an extra skill. Plain fighting is good, but not super useful since it only applies to about 45-ish percent of terrain. Vatutin also only has one mobility star, while Rommel and Graziani can have 3 at the most. The guide for Konev's missions can be found here: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/12697/konev-20-mission (20 percent) and here: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/12700/konev-40 (40 percent) I assume you don't need help on his first mission. As for legion, get 6 each of heavy tanks and rocket artilleries, as you can't always use supers in domination, but once you unlock Super tanks and artillery, I'd say buy at least 3 of each to stock up. For infantry, get mechanized and motorized infantries, as light infantry is cannon fodder in this game, and honestly you won't be using infantry much at all besides Rundstedt's missions and certain domination battles. And yes, when you use troops in domination and they die, they disappear on your legion. If you're really concerned about cost, you could always do a savestate before starting a high-risk mission

I know vatutin was not the best tank gen but I was stuck on pasific axis 3 and allies pacific7 so I was forced to buy some kind of a general to speed on. Thanks for sending the link for konev guides. With no arty gens his40% will be a bit tough

Joseph Stalin, don't worry, Vatutin is still a pretty good general, especially for his price. If you want, get Leeb first, but depending on your income that could set you back 2 weeks on buying Konev.

It will be good to test out

Joseph Stalin, I personally play on android, so I don't know if ios has savestates. There should be a cloud saving feature on the right side of your screen. On android, after you get to the selection screen (as in the screen that says scenario, conquest, hq, etc.) there's a bar on the right side of the screen with a cloud. If there is one, press it, and save your progress, and load later if needed.
