I know there's a thread that tells you what scenarios unlock skills, but I can't seem to find it. Can anybody find the link or provide a list? I believe I'm specifically looking for Armored Assault. I'm playing a mod but, unlike WC4, it doesn't tell me where I can unlock it and in what mode.

We don't have a thread on this because we can use the locked skill's description to find the needed mission. |

When I have some free time perhaps I'll compose a thread of all the skills locations, so it's easier for newer players. |

IMO, it's somewhat unnecessary as the locations are given in game for the relevant locked skills. It's just that the mod that you're playing with coincidentally misses out on this.
