Coral Sea? I really dont know why people struggle extreme in that mission. Whats your nav tech. dont know if I was too lucky but ı remember perfect clearing it in my first try. I will make a guide but ı get my nav tech to lvl 4 right know. I have level 1 Navy tech, have only tried it once, and I have bought Rundstedt and Rommel as my axis generals. Also remember this is the Axis mission. The allied mission for Coral Sea is so easy it should not exist.

definitely not, for some unknown reason ET makes guderian op, I mean guderian is a real game changer thanks to blitzkrieg and very high damage. Even if he is low on health he somehow blows up high hp enemy tanks. Rundstedt on a Grenadier also has very high damage to tanks, and also takes very low damage. There's also Rundstedt on a Wiking with promoted movement. With these SF's, Rudstedt, I'd say, is just as good as Guderian, if not better. I don't think you can compare tank gens to infantry gens. They are two different types of units.

I was looking at the 3 premium generals and sadly I get the feeling that this game might be P2W This game is very doable without paying a single penny it's just medal management can be challenging for novice players since it's pretty unforgiving the game is not pay to win but it is also true that I have no opinion here because I was so stressed with operation marita in 1939 that I bought from mainstein but that is not the point. You can easily pass the game in 3 months without having to pay, only with daily rewards you can buy generals such as Guderian and Rokovisky also it seems that it is easier since here you have a specific currency for the technology so you do not have to question whether to improve to your general or your technology (there is also a specific currency to improve the generals and by the way now that I remember in my defense when I buy from Mainstein the daily rewards were not there)

For example WC3-WC4 Alien campaigns were almost impossible to pass without paying, especially wc3, where medal gain was limited.

The only P2W game easytech made for the past few years is GOG2, which you literally cannot complete the game without the IAP units.

Will this receive an update soon? I have decided to not update this guide any further. As the title says, it is a guide for the first few generals. In this guide, I talked about the basics for generals, what you need to keep in mind when selecting your generals etc. I have also given detailed information on my opinion for generals, by which I still stand. This guide was more meant for the early stage and to help people think about their own path for generals. Furthermore, I haven’t gotten into the late game myself. I stopped a while back and only recently started on a new device. Thus any opinion on late game generals I would give, might not actually be what I’d choose when I get to the late game. And I do not want to make a guide if I do not stand behind the decisions and advice given. However you are more the welcome to continue discussing general choices in this thread, create a new thread to discuss it, or create your own guide. As for Joseph Stalin request to delete this thread: No I will not delete it. I stand by my statements and advise, which are indeed focused on the first few campaigns (as it is, like I said a guide for first generals) . With emphasis on “ advise”. You are by no means obliged to follow this thread. If you do not agree with anything I said, that is fine. Feel free to discuss it, but that does not mean that this guide should be deleted. If still you want this thread to be deleted, try contacting a moderator regarding this.

Besides the promotion system of generals, which increases the units health, what else has changed that affects generals? I will see to it that the promotion system is discussed in my guide. Despite that it doesn’t change my advise (since most generals discussed are 4 stars, with an exception of a few 3 star generals). I do believe that giving the reader all relevant information is important.

Any opinions on Rundstedt? He seems a bit overpriced but because he's infantry i'm tempted to get him.

While Yamashita his competitor is fast and has higher damage output but lack of survivability. Rundstedt has 3/3 great skill while Yama 2/3 great skill (samurai is worse).

So far I’ve got Leeb and the 5 free generals, I’m halfway through 1941 Soviet Theater. I’m thinking about maybe Vasilevsky or Vatutin for next general, what do you guys think?
