Is it possible to complete an army group without buying any generals? If so, which ones?

Here you have a nice listing: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/13673/gog3-conquests-aka-army-groupYou should be able to do most (if not all) of the Dark Green ones for Western 1939, but I suggest you do progress first on the campaign so that not only you can get a few generals, but you can upgrade your troops a bit as it does really make a difference. It'll allow you faster and easier Army Groups. And in terms of rewards/time spent, Campaign is by far the best. |

Is it possible to complete an army group without buying any generals? If so, which ones? For now, 1939 German Army Group D is the best for a no gen run. The Polish 1st Army Group and Denmark can be easily overrun. The Polish 2nd Army Group opens the way to both Yugoslav Army Groups who come under fire from the highly effective German Army Group C. Afterwards, just block the British landings and invade the French. If tech improves, maybe all the dark green ones will become options to choose for a no gen run. |

i beat 1939 with bulgaria without knowing how to assign generals or stack units.
