Axis
First general: Leeb(795 medals)
Amazing stats and amazing skills, fire focus and accuracy are two of the best skills for artillerty generals and allows him to dish out powerful crits no wonder he is the best axis artillery general and besides your going to have to buy him sooner or later so why not buy him now?
Alternitives include but not limited to: Badoglio
Second general: Guderian(1020 medals)
The best F2P tank general even when we include the allied generals sporting amazing output, speed, and survivability! He is expensive but he will earn every single medal you spent on him with ease!
Alternitives include but not limited to: Rommel
Third general: Nagumo(730 medals)
The cheapest of the axis admirals and the most useful, he hits insanely hard and he doesnt cost a slot in the pasific! he also has the most stars overall meaning he will make getting the naval medals easier
Alternitives include but not limited to: Donitz, Yamamoto
(Optional) Yamashita(810 medals)
The best axis infantry general and will make life alot easier clearing those nasty pasific star missions, recomended if your having trouble with perfect clearing the pasific campaign
Alternitives include but not limited to: Kuribayashi, Mannerheim
Fourth general: Rommel(995 medals)
The desert fox himself! him and guderian will rip and tear through the african campaigns like a hot knife cutting through butter!
Alternitives include but not limited to: Guderian
(optional) Kesselring(820 medals)
The best axis air general that can also serve as a capable secondary infantry general, reccomended if youre having trouble with perfect clearing the pasific and african campaigns
Alternitives include but not limited to: Student, Yamamoto
For the players who bought IAP generals:
Manstein: same path, rommel and guderian are still monsters
Eisenhower: dont buy kesselring and yamashita, same path nagumo is stil needed for completion of the pasific
Zhukov: delay leeb to africa or dont buy him at all other than that same path
Allies
First general: Rokossovsky(815 medals)
The best user of the KV-6 special force, he hits hard especially against armored foes, your main tank general until you get to africa
Alternatives include but not limited to: Vatutin, Montgomery
(optional) Govorov(775 medals)
The strongest artillery general in the game surpassing Leeb although not by much, but eeeeef you said Leeb was a no brainer why isnt it true for Govorov? its because Chuikov and alexander exist and they do Govorov's job pretty well so he is only recommended if you have spare medals and dont know who to spend it on
Alternitives include but not limited to: Konev
Second general: MacArthur(?)
The best allied infantry general! he performs well on all missions where infantry is available! He performs exceptionally well on the players turn with the cossack cavalier and the ranger!
Alternitives include but not limited to: Tassigny, Slim, Vasilevsky, Konev, Bradley
(optional) Nimitz(755 medals)
The best admiral in the entire game imo however perfect clearing all allied missions even the pasific ones are doable and easy even without an admiral, he is just overkill and simply not nessecary unless you have extra medals
Alternitives include but not limited to: Halsey, Mountbatten
Third general: Patton(950 medals)
The best allied tank general with good speed and excellent survivability, the go to allied guy for medium tanks thanks to blitzkrieg
Alternitives include but not limited to: Montgomery, Rokossovsky, Vatutin
To the players who bought IAP generals:
Manstein: same path just ignore patton
Eisenhower: ignore macarthur and nimitz
Zhukov: ignore govorov
