As they say: Mistakes leads to bigger success, anymore questions? Nope. Well, he did have one area of expertise left, so... Half credit if you can explain your thoughts on if Mikhail Gorbachev's political reforms strengthened or weakened the Soviet Union.

Fort Sumter was a federal property. But it was state-held. It was owned by federal government, if they wanted peace then why did they attacked it?

1. Other than Virginia (partially because they have more slaves), everyone else's economic situation very bad, it was impossible for them to fund the government, and tarrifs were the most reasonable thing in that situation. 2. Conspiracy theory 1. They were dependent on foreign trade in any case. 2. No, it isn't. He was originally an Anti-Federalist, but when he switched sides, he became an erstwhile proselyte for Federalosm. 1. What was more important, preserving the union or states getting rid of their debts 2. When did he switch sides?

Debt is more important than almost anything, because, although debts build interest, you can break and rejoin at anytime *cough* all Albanian alliances *cough*. 2. Just before the Bill of Rights was added.

If he didn't want to start a war that (history has shown that Civil wars are more brutal than international wars) was sure to cause hundreds of thousands of casualties.

The vast majority of colonists were in support of the advantages that came with being a British Colony. A war successful could show the British throne that, although they would remain British, they didn't have to. 2. Okay, I will concede here, I only know bare details about Federalsists and Anti-Federalists. However, I do know that Jefferson was an Anti Federalist who moved over to supporting the Constitution.
