Привет everyone I have a question which is a better tank general Vatutin or Rokossovsky Vatutin has six star on panzer meanwhile roko only has five but roko has better mobility and two empty slot for skills and higher rank Should I sell my Vatutin to buy Rokossovsky or save my vatutin

Rokossovsky will cost a s**t load of medals to be decent despite having a Major rank. Vatutin on the other hand is one of the best non IAP generals in the game at the cost of the Captain rank (Upgrade).

Should I sell my Vatutin to buy Rokossovsky or save my vatutin Where are you in the game? do you have another tank gen beside Vatutin (Guderian/ Rommel)? Rokossovsky (and Graziani) arguably are the 3rd best Non-IAP tank gen, but Vatutin (beside his slow movement and low rank) is one of the popular early to mid game general (Messe is the other one).

Well i have both guderian and rommel and almost near the 1980 scenario Then, you need Rokossovsky (not ASAP tho), just dont upgrade your Vatutin, and sell him to buy Roko when you're stuck in your game. Indeed, Roko needs tons of medal to upgrade, but he's better than Vatutin.

And what skill should i give him? Armored Assault is a must, In 1980 scenario, all you need is rumor gen. If your lineup gen (max 6 to deploy) already contain at least 4 rumor gen (mine was Guderian, Rommel, Konev, Leeb) then you can give Roko another damage booster (Explosive/ PF/ even crossfire) or Defensive skill like Blitzkrieg/ even Rumor (the more rumor the better). His 5th skill is situational. But if you lack rumor gen, then Rumor+AA is a must

Vatutin is too slow to have endgame utility.

Vatutin: 1800 medals 2 Infantry stars (2 more available) 6 Tank stars 0 Airforce stars (3 more available) 1 Artillery star 1 marching star
Captain (124% health) Tide of Iron Level 1 (eh, could be better) Plain Fighting Level 1 (good, but needs to be higher level) Panzer Leader Level 3 (pretty good) 1 extra slot (Armored assault is a must on tank generals)
As you can see, Vatutin has a lot going for him as a tank general, but should be used a back-up tank general. Guderian, Rommel, Manstein, and maybe Roko/Monty are hard hitters that do well as frontline tanks. He has the stars and the abilities, but the thing that makes him lose end-game viability is his 1 marching star and only 1 extra ability slot.
Rokossovsky: 2455 medals 4 Infantry stars (1 more available) 5 Tank stars (1 more available) 2 Artillery stars 1 Navy star (2 more available) 4 marching stars
Major General (143% health) Panzer leader Level 3 (pretty good) Tide of Iron Level 1 (eh, could be better) Shelter Level 2 (not very good) 2 extra ability slots (Armored assault is essential, and you can get rumor or blitzkrieg. Rumor only if you don't have at least 1 general with level 5 rumor and blitzkrieg for better survivability).
Rokossovsky looks pretty underwhelming with only 5 tank stars and decent abilities, and yes, he is underwhelming because Guderian, Rommel, and Manstein make every other tank general look mediocre, but a better buy than Vatutin for 600 more medals. What draws Rokossovsky back is his tank star and his shelter ability. Not a big fan of it. Major general is also something going for him, giving him more survivability than Vatutin, which is essential in end-game since the enemy will hit hard. What sets him apart from Vatutin the most though is his 2 ability slots and his 4 marching stars. Marching is essential for tank generals, so I would definitely recommend Rokossovsky for this reason. But if you're looking for a strong tank general to go with Guderian and Rommel, be prepared to shell in a ton of medals. Abilities are everything in WC4.
Verdict:
Vatutin if you're in mid-game (which you aren't, you're almost to 1980) or you're fine with his marching stars. Rokossovsky if you're stuck end-game (not a priority, Konev and Leeb are better buys) and are willing to invest medals to give him armored assault to a decent level.

journeykeen, Yeah, I agree with you on that they're pretty much the same general. What makes Rommel better to me is that he gets Armored Assault, which is really good for a tank general. Roko's Tide of Iron isn't too good and his panzer leader is decent, but I still think armored assault is better. More consistent. Rommel also costs a lot less than Roko, and those medals saved from the discount missions can go to upgrading his skills and abilities . Also, I probably should take back Monty as a main tank general. He's not too good for 2600 medals and only 1 good skill (plain fighting).

Crossfire is Mathematically Superior to Armored Assault.

Crossfire is Mathematically Superior to Armored Assault. I assume you meant Tide of Iron instead of AA?
