Varies based on playing style. But overall Lannes is a better purchase since Suvorov can be replaced with Victoria for most cases.

I see that both of them are equally strong, though Suvorov has all infantry related skills. I think Dobeln is a bit less powerful version of Suvorov as his skills and stars match with him

Kind of a trick question. While there stars for the most part are the same, their skills are mostly different.
As far as infantry generals go, Suvorov is much better. They both have mass fire, though if you have a snare drum, isn't that great of a skill. Bugle is a more important skill then leadership or assault art. On the flip side, Suvorov is useless on an non infantry unit, while Lannes is pretty good on everything because of leadership and geography.

Hence, we cant use him in speed rushing conquests.

He is a better infantry, the most important unit. That was easy.

He is a better infantry, the most important unit. That was easy. But he has no movement stars, Princess rush with him becomes difficult. Also, he is useless on non-infantry unit. Lannes is an hybrid. It is useful, especially in the American conquest

Lannes is way better imo. Suvorov’s output is pretty low on grenadiers or gaurds, he also when attacked by cavarly crumbles. I have used Suvorov and he wasn’t very good. Lannes is much stronger

I vote for team Lannes I agree on that. While being equal (at least almost) to Suvorov, he is a good hybrid (best?) and comes in handy wherever required. I too, for Lannes.
