I personally recommend nagumo and macarthur for perfect clearing the pasific theater. Mac is very helpful in the pasific and will prove to be a big contributer later on. Nagumo imo is one of the 3 necessary options for perfect clearing Coral Hell and he's the cheapest option while being the most powerful against land units. Is coral really that hard? I perfectly beat coral in one try with just free gens. Axis I cleared 6th try with free gens, allies I perfect cleared first try. |

Okay, eeeeef ,@vonmanstein77 , Port , HangryBird , I got MacArthur and have 424 medals. Should I go for an Axis Navy or Axis land, or other? Vatutin, Yamashita, Kesselring, Guderian, Nimitz, Nagumo, or Dö rnitz. Any of these will do. |

I prefer Doenitz to Nagumo, and I only have Vatutin, MacArthur and Rundstedt. Runstedt means you can skip Yamashita. Maybe Yamamoto for Aircraft Carrier? Guderian is an option too. Guderian. Ground forces are the most important aspect of this game, with some exceptions. I went for Leeb, double inf (Yamashita and Rundstedt) and double tank (Guderian and Rommel) eventually for Axis. The only things left to clear completely are East Indies and New Guinea Campaigns as well as 1944 Western Front. I'm halfway through 1945 Pacific War with lvl 2 Navy tech and my two admirals are the free Ozawa and Riccardi so additional naval support is not a priority. |

I cleared the allied side mostly perfect to unlock North Africa just with free Gens. I struggle on axis side having Leeb and Guderian. I probably get me an axis Inf Gen next. Due to slot issues I would prefer Yamashita and get Rundstedt very late. |

What's with you and unpopular and more often than not incorrect opinions. I just like playing devil's advocate. I could make an arguement for Hoth being a great price performer, honestly. Actually, I have made these calculations, and Rommel is better, at least on a heavy. Guderian shines on medium tanks. However, considering I have an excellent Heavy tanker, (Bock) Guderian is the best Tanker for now. However, Rommel is very capable on a medium tank as well, so I think I'll ... abuse save/load! |
