imo Student is a good cheap general. First he's a major (100 health) 3 star infantry, 4 stars in air fighting besides of that can he move further. But the best thing are his skills: level 3 in infantry leader, level 3 in raider, and 32 extra damage against fortress units.

Actually thinking of purchasing Weichs for his 4-star artillery ability. I don't have enough medals for Govorov or Badoglio, though.

Guderian is the best tank general. Goring is the best air one. Donitz is good, but navy generals don't have navy time to fight. Rommel, he is a good opponent to Patton to compete the second tank general, unless you are using Manstein on tank(many people put him on artillery..

Guderian is the total package, all of his skills are used as a tank commander, and he has very near max speed. The artillery field doesnt offer generals with that kind of perfection. Donitz might be the best naval officer if not on aircraft carrier. Yamamoto is def. Best on carrier, but any other ship is Donitz all day

right he have mixed skills for air inf and eco. What do you think about bock? He looks interesting not a good general. 1790 medals while you have a 5 star tank even cheaper than him with better skills. also only 120 health aint great.

all german squad?
germany lacks artillery :/
anyways:
greim as first general (in real definitely badoglio) up his health a bit
then save for guderian or göring. afterwards buy the other one then rommel (use him for artillery means as well) then dönitz or reader for navy.
then eye covered artillery another eye covered artillery sell greim then eye covered artillery or tank
perhaps model as endgame artillery

I'm focused on an all axis squad. Best german, Italan and Japanese general's but my english isn't that well sorry.

dont buy greim
guderian and rommel for tank manstein for artillery
replace the dönitz or reader step with yamamoto (that can also serve for artillery)
