However, he is undoubtedly the most versatile.) F2P Gen and he is up there with Roko?! |

To say that someone is "overrated" isn't the same as to say that someone is "bad". I guess no-one thinks that Mac is a bad weak general. The question is whether it is possible to replace an expensive general with a less expensive one without any significant consequences or not.

Well, If we view it from that perspective, I suppose you could replace Macarthur with the cheaper alternatives of Slim, Tassigny and possibly Bradley. |

Tassigny, Slim, Brad, and Clark can't come close to Mac! I am not saying they are as good. I'm saying they are cheap alternatives for guys who are too impatient to grind for Mac. |
