We can't one-shot light Artillery We can't one-shot Armored cars We can't one-shot Infantry with SF Idk if you got unlucky or not, but infantry + a general can take out a stack a light artillery Same with attacking infantry

In the field test on the guy next to the radar. Roko - 94, 98 (PL Proc), 105, 100, 98, 93, 92 (PL Proc), 97, 102, 100, 89, 103 ~ Average: 97. You need 105 to kill a unit. Comparing this to Vatutin Average of 127. On the Infantry in the City. Roko - 87, 90, 88, 76 (PL Proc), 76, 81 (PL Proc), 83, 79, 81 (PL Proc), 85, 83, 94 ~ Average: 83 Comparing this to Vatutin Average of 101. I don't really want to open up a PL vs TOI debate on this thread because it would derail it but Vatutin definitely kills one infantry in the field, whilst Roko one infantry when his PL Proc. In the city, Roko has a 24% chance of having his PL Proc whilst Vatutin would need to kill off the infantry which he probably has ~30% chance of doing and then hoping the tank hitting again procs so Roko is slightly better there. I guess the conclusion is Roko is on average better about 30ish% of the time and Vatutin about 70% of the time which is what this board already knew. I think the more fair comparison for Panzer Leader vs Tide of Iron should be Monty vs Vatutin since they both have 4 stars on Tanks. I don't like any abstract ideas who is better x% of the time. I find it rather artificial. Would you be so nice to demonstrate how Vatutin is better about 70 percent of the time on the first move of War in India with different opponents and unit types?

@ stoic, I think we should make a New Thread if we're going to compare Vatutin, Monty, Roko & Timo. I also only claimed, as per my experience thread that Vatutin can one shot Infantry without Special Forces and I already knew he wouldn't reliably one-shot units with special forces but I never noticed the part about the city/fortifications so thanks for that . Also I still reserve as also mentioned before the right to change my rankings depending on how Antarctica goes. @ zink,1942 has like lvl1 units, 1945 has like lvl5 units. The difference for infantry is 20 HP and 2 defense (equates as we learnt today to about 10 HP). So about 30 HP/Damage?

I completely agree that all our thoughts are not far from being mere speculations before Antarctic campaigns are out. In the end last campaigns are decisive and early campaigns it is possible to complete with variety of generals.

Quite so, but Antarctica is like a cherry on top It well may be, that it won't be as hard as we expect though...

Great! Now I can continue being sad and confused as to why people hate monty and roko . I think Roko is severely overrated.
