Hey gang sorry I didn't realize someone revived this thread. The tag for me so I can get a notification should be @ admin with no space rather than @ saltin , long story so I won't get too much into that. On the first thread: Ironically no one is the author of the very first thread, because that thing was a "welcome to the forum" auto generated message. So if you really want an answer then: It was a bot message  For the second point eeeeef is correct, the darth vader title has been around for so long it was decided not to change it because of that. It doesn't quite fit I know but at the time members liked it. Finall the 3rd point, "marshal" versus "marshall" spelling, both are valid and accepted language usage, some countries prefer to use one over the other that's all.
