Yepper. Govorov actually has all 3 together (artillery barrage = tide of iron for artillery), another great example is Devers who costs 900 medals. But combinations of terrain bonuses and artillery barrage/bayonet charge/tide of iron is what makes a general stand out and be able to win battles. Really the best skills in the game are bayonet charge/tide of iron/artillery barrage as they make a huge difference once your general dips below 50% health.

Wouldn't Greim be a great choice for a beginner air gen? He is a great choice. I usually recommend Ozawa though due to his advantage on health and navy. I actually was thinking, Fletcher might be a better choice. He has lvl 3 wolfpack overall which will make a huge difference over Ozawa. He also has a bit more health and an additional air star. Plus even lvl 1 supply is very helpful on a carrier. The medal difference there is around 300. What do you think Manstein?

It’s almost a guaranteed bonus.

I didn’t find the WW2 navy missions so hard at the beginning that an expensive navy general is necessary. Fletcher is better than Ozawa, without doubt, but he is not the most cost-efficient one out there. I recommend Ozawa because he is equal to major Portal on land, while Fletcher is captain Greim. Not that much a difference. So yeah, better by quality, but we need that 340 for Guderian more.

(M General 170hp). But Rommel has level 4 tide of iron and has ace forces instead of blitzkreig. And level 1 anti armor instead of Guderians defense tactic. Also Guderian has plain fighting and Rommel has desert fighting. However, Rommel is L General 200hp and is 50 medals cheaper. Which one should I get?

To be honest though Rommel has better survivability with more hp

Plus Rommel has at least 1 star in everything making him more versatile than Guderian. And he has three stars in artillery compared to Guderians 3 infantry stars. Artillery seems more valuable than infantry.

Artillery seems more valuable than infantry. Guderian has maxed out plain fighting, which many of us consider to be the best skill in the game. Plus Guderian also has blitzkrieg allowing for additional survivability. Rommel is great but he really needs to come after guderian, he is the kind of general that can gain rank extremely fast allowing him to be great for pushing extremely quickly fast. But guderian’s damage is much higher. Correction: When Rommel is in Desert he is much better. But that doesn’t occur very often.
