Plus Rommel has at least 1 star in everything making him more versatile than Guderian. And he has three stars in artillery compared to Guderians 3 infantry stars. Artillery seems more valuable than infantry. You’ll never put Guderian on infantry even when there’s only an armored car.

Also is Rundstedt any good. He has good stars and rank for his price but skills are his downfall... what’s your opinion?

I’ve been thinking about getting Rundstedt but is her worth it? His stars make him look strong.

You don’t need Rundstedt and Konev when you have Zhukov. Don’t sell Konev yet. This is the order: Guderian-Patton-Gororov-trade Konev with Rommel/Vatutin.

It’s good to have Konev as a supporter for Zhukov

It’s good to have Konev as a supporter for Zhukov Yes, for now. But at the endgame, Konev is nothing more than Zhukov lite. There will no place for him.

Guderian has maxed out plain fighting, which many of us consider to be the best skill in the game. Plus Guderian also has blitzkrieg allowing for additional survivability. Rommel is great but he really needs to come after guderian, he is the kind of general that can gain rank extremely fast allowing him to be great for pushing extremely quickly fast. But guderian’s damage is much higher. Correction: When Rommel is in Desert he is much better. But that doesn’t occur very often. pretty much only in Africa. Not even all of africa. Plain tiles are on the contrary everywhere. They are the ones with no damage penalties. Finding them is quite easy, for that reason, as long as you are not in water, plain fighting is considered the best skill in the game.

Konev is a great infantry general. He is actually equivalent to Yamashita who he ironically costs less than. I would keep konev around, he is pretty good on rocket artillery. Since you have Zhukov and Konev, I would grab Bai CX instead of Govorov. Bai moves an entire tile more than Govorov at any time period and has more hp. He will in fact outrun them both on field artillery. He won’t be able to one hit kill most units but he’ll do fine damage of around 50-80 with each hit.
