Little off topiv but what’s the order of tiles commonality In my opinion, it is not off topic since we are discussing plain fighting. Commanality 1. Plain 2. Jungle (if given general has good movement) 3. Urban 4. Mountain 5. Sailor 6. Desert The only ones worth considering are the first 2 as urban fighting is a bit hard to use in any scenario. Also, plain fighting and urban fighting can stack (meaning if the general is in a city and has both skills, both bonuses occur).

Anyway, its your choice between either but it is very smart to keep a good amount of artillery generals around, as they are the best units in every age but Cold War.

I had him for a bit. He was quite good, but I wouldn’t really recommend including him in your top 6 generals. But he had good damage and survivability, and was great on other land units.

Just an observation. The AI doesn’t seem to like nuking artillery as much as tanks and infantry.

Urban is also good for city defenders though too Definitely true, but City Defenders aren’t really needed. Because you will have to push as fast as possible. A general with plain fighting can do the job just as well. But I definitely do agree. City Defenders can be good if used right.

Just an observation. The AI doesn’t seem to like nuking artillery as much as tanks and infantry. Ai only seems to like nuking tanks or units in cities. They nuke the units that have the most hp, which can usually be countered by spawning a high hp unit in a city.

Sun has 3 stars in infantry and panzer. Plus 4* movement I used him on artillery just as often. His output comes from the jungle fighting skill actually. Stars definitely help, but each level of the jungle fighting skill adds an additional star of output.
