Say I am doing an all IAP run with all slots and I don't want to use princesses. What should be my gen path? Should I get Kutuzov first? Because that is what I am thinking about.

I think about this too. Not sure if it needs to be all IAP, there are a lot of excellent tier 2 generals as well. The biggest factors are slots you have, emblems, and training.
In my English version you can buy 5, 10, or 30 emblems. In my Chinese version 8 or 16 at a time. How many emblems are you looking to spend? How many slots?

Maybe Jackson or LaSalle? I feel like if I had just one general I'd go with economy or cavalry, only units that can be force multipliers. |

I am just playing ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ's unlock APK (lots of grinding TBH, and I love it). Slots are all unlocked and IAP gens cost 1645 to 2010 medals. My 12-slot dreamteam is Paget, Wellesley, Kutuzov, Jervis, Nelson, Suvorov, Moreau, Dearborn, Murat, Soult, Bagration, Barclay (uh-huh). I only make very minor IAPs, because I am not Bill Gates. |

Cotton is great because ge also has Spy, Super Sulkowski.
I still feel like LaSalle comes out of the box perfect, Strike, 5 star cav and movement.
I think if I could choose one general to beat the game, it would be him. Mostly because at 150/10 double cav pistol cav generals one shot most units. Even on dbl light they do 60 damage. With just one good cav general, you can clean up most units leaving only the generals for the rest of your army to deal with.

Naw, Paget is much better when he is regrouped, Radetzky is much better when Out of the Box. Lasalle may be OP, but his skills are like Dombrowski: good, but not great. |

Honestly, I love this mod. It appeals to my two greatest Passions: Grinding, and History. Now grinding medals is much more important, and it appeals to history in two ways: one, I get to use the gens that actually matter, and two, the need of Princesses (which I don't use anyway) is greatly reduced.

My recommendation: Go for the all Poland team! Since Poles spent much of the period as mercenaries anyway, they could "realistically" be generals in all the conflicts.

Although the Vanilla is a free mod without IAP and free refreshes, it is not easy to get the top lineup: Tier III generals, cost between 1750π and 2200π!Without investing in trainer for the princess, you can go on on a tier III lineup - but it takes time, your first general should be artillery for the HRE and East campaign. I would not start with infantry, not tier III. I like, without experience, La Salle too. He seems perfect to me. Maybe I overpriced him (and Moreau). training stars are not important for a cavaly general like him - he will reach 5 cheverons faster than you want. A snair is a must-have, if less than 50% health - for all cavalary generals. I never trained Lan |
