No. It wasn't until later half of 1790s. Also, they had poor supplies until Napoleon became Consul. Napoleon only commanded sizeable army for less than 4 years (including failed Egyptian campaign) before becoming consul. France always has numerical superiority in Rhine after 1794 in war of the first coalition. Ok, but they didn't had supplies, weapons more importantly. Let me see how you do in a fight to death match with bare hands against someone with a gun

Ejem? Remember than Stephen Hawkin was paraplegic Albert Eistein was not But if a Physically disabled person accomplishes a task, he gets more accolades. In our country, there is this test called JEE, which is basically an entrance test for universities. Out of 360 marks, they should get only "1" mark to qualify. Why? because they are disabled. And getting even 1 mark (There is negative marking) is considered a good score for them. Disabled people take great struggle to achieve small things, but Napoleon achieved big things with his disabled army

Ok, but they didn't had supplies, weapons more importantly. Let me see how you do in a fight to death match with bare hands against someone with a gun Army of Italy was supposed to be a diversion hence it was not supplied that well, but on Rhine it wasn't the case. I don't think they were fighting with bare hands even in Italy. But still, Napoleon, as Oversimplified says, made it the main show, with a disabled army.

What would you call an army that has no weapons, mules for transportation, food, clothing, is unpaid? I still don't think they were unarmed and without any clothes. That was still a brilliant campaign but they weren't disabled. I've read David Chandelier's version of Napoleon's life. If you read the chapters, especially those of 1812 - 13, he criticized Napoleon bitterly for not picking the right strategy, as if he were a magician, who could win every battle. Even such a critical person said that the Army of Italy didn't had weapons and clothes.

Where be my Quintus Sertorius? He is under the other category. I personally don't feel he is comparable to the others on his list, as even other romans like Caesar, Scipio Africanius, and Pompey are comparable

Where be my Quintus Sertorius? He is under the other category. I personally don't feel he is comparable to the others on his list, as even other romans like Caesar, Scipio Africanius, and Pompey are comparable My man literally wages guerilla warfare against the most powerful nation of the world, with ill-trained, ill-equipped, ill-led men, and manages to last.
