Hey guys, its me again... Anyways after getting Lan I thought the Victoria grind would be a walk in the park, instead, it became a one way ticket to hell. My main HRE strategy is for Hotez and Rosenberg to take out Denmark and leaving Poland for the Russians and Deroy. That leaves Luisingen for the Ottomans which uhhh... works alright but most of the times I'll have to drop my cavalry generals there. For Italy before I don't usually send any generals there and just take Rome via armored car spam (which completely destroys my industry) and kill Napoleon by the combination of naval power and my cavalry general, which I send to assist Naples after taking out fortresses in Greece. For the French front, the power combo of Desaix-Dourmeiz-Moreau-Massena is practically immune to militia spam and requires light artillery (which also destroys my industry) to kill. I usually put my infantry general there to take care of them but they're a huge nuisance to deal with. I can finish within 33-38 but not 31, and I don't have near enough the industry. Does anyone have a viable strategy to get Victoria that's not in video form? Cuz I tried a couple successful runs on Bilibili and most of them starts to derail around round 5.
My generals: Jervis (98, 6) Lannes (110, 7) Suchet (125, 8) Lan (54, 4) Isabella (98, 7) None of them are regrouped.
Or should I try England instead? I've heard it's a liable alternative to HRE.

Hey guys, its me again [...] Or should I try England instead? I've heard it's a liable alternative to HRE. GB as alternative ? I don't believe so. For me GB seems the worst of the big countries, I haven't seen one sucessfull GB-run that resulted in 850 or 900 years. I personally was amazed how much ressources France 1806 and 1809 (09 with generals) give. Hre 1798 or France 1806 require a 5β trading general. The first trades (10π° for 2π§) can be done even by a Nobility 10 general with 2β. I don't like video tutorials too, but the HRE video from Ride-the-wind that Erich von Manstein mentioned is worth a view! I got a full stock in R30 (8 rounds later was still enough). For me a guide works like a briefing - I learn more or less where to go and what I'm expecting - the rest comes during a conquest. Keep a Save from R15 and one R22, so you can speed up a conquest if necessary.

I regrouped Jervis with Jerome so now I have a five star-econ, I hope his economic master will make up for the lack of Napoleonic Code. I watched the HRE video a couple times now, and I can't exactly replicate his opening. I'll to just force my way through with generals and medkits cause Desaix always comes North and kill my attempts to sneak through to the factory next to Paris. My main worry is Napoleon cause I have no strong generals in Italy. If I fail again I'll just try France 1806 ig

[...] I regrouped Jervis with Jerome so now I have a five star-econ, I hope his economic master will make up for the lack of Napoleonic Code. The economic master is already an excellent alternative - the difference is not decesive, I didn't had anything. Don't build unnecessary expensive units (especial in 1798) two guards cost the same as 10 militia! I just got the factory south of Paris on my first try, later not. I went south - iirc is he even showing maybe the alternative way in his video (showing or undo ? not shure). Napoleon will be hopefully already with low health. I flank him with forts, so he has something to attack and then many small militia hits kill him. Your generals will probably not survive an attack.Β Napoleon was the last french unit - and the only one I could starve out .

Ok so I did another HRE conquest and ended on round 38 which sucks cause I only had 6k industrial. According to my calculations I'll have to finish on round 31 to have enough industrials T_T does anyone know how? I even got extremely lucky this round cause Naples took out Napoleon and Rome but it seems like that's still not enough. If I were to go faster I'll have to spam units like armored cars which is never a good idea. The best run I had with HRE is 33 but at the cost of all my resources burned.

Ok I prefer 1806 and 1809 for the vast amount of ressources, but HRE R33 without ressources this sounds wrong! You can't build AC in 1798. 1798 is the economy crisis that finally led to the french revolution. 90% of the troops you build should be Militia. Steal what is possible from your Allies! (Save before) Did you spend all the ressources you have in R1 - R10 for upgrading? You never should save something as long as you can upgrade! You have a trader in Vienna to exchange all ressources you have. Do you trade at the end of the conquest to avoid stock-overruns of π and π° ?

Heya~ Yes I did trade resources to avoid stockoverruns, and I went back on my saved files and eventually got one with 8914 industrials on round 37, just barely over the minimum line! However I only have 207 campaign stars so my plan is to keep on doing campaign missions until I get 235 stars because I'm too sick of HRE conquest to do another one. (Still gotta do HRE missions tho ) HRE: I am, inevitable.

Before trying France 1809, I warn you because it's more tougher as you have to capture more facilities.

I would also just play a few missions more - Your run was sufficient! ... and you will be probable the first one (for shure here at the EFC), who picks up Victoria with a HRE-long-run! Enjoy ! π PS: Later, I hope you will join the Summer-Quest: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/15547/ew4-event-overlord-mediterraneanEvery contribution counts - don't worry about your ranking! And we await: A)-ndroid Multiplayer B)-ugfix for Min-Dmg, and C)-loud-Save to get back players that lost their headquarter-save.

If they come out with a fix that lets us restore our HQ progress in IAPs, generals and items whenever the game fouls itself, I will buy to open all the slots all over again. I have fallen back in love with this game.
