Iron Duke how would you rate the difficulty of two first hard mode campaigns? What do we need to beat them? Is there any practical sense in trying to complete them before Discovery age? What do you mean exactly, to complete all of Classical age & Medieval age on hard mode? I'd be surprised if Medieval can be completed before Industrial age, and I'd guess at least Discovery for Classical. Some missions in Classical might be doable with an Empire age team but I can't see much benefit in that, although there's no harm in trying, but I wouldn't advise building any strongholds until you know that you won't miss the resources. I know where you can find some videos on the subject, if you're interested

As for the videos - be sure I will watch them when the time is ripe

I am in Industrial I found that the Medieval hard mode challenges are extremel difficult. I can't even get the second star bonus.

Oof, that was exhausting... Not sure I am ready yet to repeat it 6 times per day On the other hand, Gungnir only after 4 days of playing is not bad at all. But my first strategic goal is to farm (not to suffer ) NT1 on a regular basis. 120 additional medals per day - it is a huge bonus for a new player!

Since many of my future generals are not available for new players, I have to think what to do with my current team to progress. So, I have o couple of words about Attila. At different times I bought many great generals - Caesar, Nobunaga, Suleiman etc. But, truth be told, no-one is even close to Attila if we compare one-man contribution. The life is so easy with Attila when you start the game that you don't even need words "tactics" and "strategy" for several historical ages. It is just - check, check and mate... Of course, you have to use Attila properly, and that means to upgrade his first two skills AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. Otherwise you just make one important step and hesitate to make another even more important one. Attila without upgrades is just a mediocre general who won't help you much. Upgraded Attila is a shining star who can change the balance between failure and success. I am really curious how he and Syriothai could work together. Syriothai has an excellent potential, she's probably the best out of all awakened generals. I will add Hannibal to them and this trio will be a backbone of my team up to late midgame. Attila is everywhere be praised

Unlocked my first awakened general I like the idea to upgrade Mulan's Braveness to make my life easier in Mythological trials.

Well, after 6 days of playing I am close to unlock Discovery age. So, playing conquests is inevitable I wanted to avoid them as long as I can, but now I have no other choice. Several hours of fun and excitement It is an irony... Just in case...

I'm not too far off, but not quite there yet.

Two teams: Joan, Alex, Robin, Khalid, Syriothai, Huo And then the main one: Attila, Hannibal, Belisarius, Mocte, Mulan, Pachacuti. I have experienced and cunning adversaries, you know, so, I am trying to do my best

It requires a lot of micromanagement unfortunately.

You guys use a team to reach final battle in legend mode😐😰. I just use 1 person with logistics. Some times waste generals (like using leonidas to waste suriyothai's super in zeus battle)

Got it! It took me 6 days but I got there in the end Note to self on this while I remember: I was saving medals for my next general purchase as I usually would, but I realised that now that we need a larger squad it makes more sense strategically to spend a few hundred upgrading some of the supporting players in order to complete this trial asap, as Gungnir will help with progressing through the game and the extra medals from farming Legend mode will recoup the medals spent pretty quickly anyway. It is always psychologically difficult to spend medals on upgrades and promotions when we have enough funds to hire another big name. But, I agree, with all this content we need a "team" sooner than later.
