Hey, So I recently started playing GCR. I think it's quite a fun game, and i needed medals for Pompey. So i decided to go for conquet. I found that the cherusci(?) had a "very hard" rating. This however is really off, as i managed to complete it by simply taking a bit of cities using the starting general, and i deployed my other general only when i was in Turkey. For the rest i just bribed a bunch of people and let my allies do the rest. (Picture in desc if you want to see results). Why did it then say very hard if it was quite easy??

I completed the same conquest yesterday, and I think you need less turns to complete it with rating 3. And you have to be quite active to achieve a decent score.

No no no no no that's now what I was asking Before you start a conquest, it says how hard it will be. My question is: why is that part so off??

So, they are "hard" in comparison to other conquests, not by themselves. In EW 6 1914 challenge conquests are quite challenging, if you are looking for a challenge ...

Already gave up on ew6: 1914 I upgraded all my tech, and THEN i saw the enemy's tech also got stronger. I don't wanna restart, so i'll just wait till the moment that gets fixed

Also the Parthians kinda sucked tbh. Don't forget they are surrounded by enemies. If we don't help them - they are doomed...

In general, the rating is based on how strong the country is at the start. How strong your allies are is not taken into account. For example, in the punic wars conquest, Massylii is rated "hard" because you start with one city, while Rome is rated "easy" because you start off with a lot of cities. But, Massylii is actually much easier because your allies are very strong and it is almost an auto-conquest. As Rome, your allies suck so it is actually harder than Massylii. This is in contrast with EW6:1914 where conquests are mostly rated on difficulty and not starting strength of your nation.

I always thought the rating system was based on the size and resources a nation has. Rome for instance is easy because you get a lot of starting cities and units, while boii only has 2 cities, so it's labeled as very hard.
