hey, i just started playing wc4, i've played all the european war games before and i remember some tips/glitches you can use to hit without getting hit back. This only works with artillery.
So say you are in any artillery e.g. howitzer or rocket, if you want to hit an enemy artillery or a heavy tank, theres a chance that you will get hit back and that sucks because artillery has very low health and die fast. If you want to hit enemy without getting hit back, all you have to do is attack enemy and watch the animation of enemy tank, if you see them shoot back, you need to quickly press the pause button, exit game and rejoin. This will allow you to attack the enemy again and you keep doing this until you see the enemy don't attack back. You need to be fast when you press the pause button so i usually have my finger ready on the button when i'm about to hit enemy.
This makes it much easier to progress if you are new and your artillery tech is low.

Forgot to mention, this method also works if you want to trigger certain skills such as rumour, so just hit an enemy and you will see the skill activate immediately, if it doesn't then you need to press pause button quickly before the enemy hits you back, rejoin and keep hitting until rumour is activated.

it's not cheating, it's a glitch kinda with mechanics, if you keep spamming rumour, it's amazing to fight op enemy generals because, u just need to flank them to get enemy moral down once, then hit them with rumour twice and they become confused and can't hit you back, it's op tip

I've already mentioned this in another thread but i want people to see this because it's super useful, borderline op. This is mainly for rumour skill because if you demoralise enemy 3 times, they become confused and can't hit back - great for super strong enemy generals. The trick is to hit an enemy and check if the skill activates, if it doesn't you need to quickly press the pause button just before the enemy attacks you, leave the game and rejoin it, it will allow you to hit the enemy again. Keep doing this until skill finally triggers. This may take some time but the higher level your rumour skill is, the faster it will be.

no fun, just upgrade your arty tech

you do realise it takes a long time to get tech to high level, because upgrades are locked by campain and you need to spend lots of resources... This tip is useful for new players and people with low tech. I don't know why you think it's not fun.

I don't know why you think it's not fun. i dont have a problem with resources to upgrade tech, just play conquest, do daily task, and buy correct wonder, then you wont have problem with resources. no fun for me because you must stay alert every time your arty attack, quickly press pause/ exit the game. It's not a big deal to lose a unit/ restarting a level. and please, dont spam new thread about this tip

i have more than enough resources to upgrade, but i can't because i didn't finish the european campaigns yet, every mistake you make, even small ones make it harder for you to 3star missions, and i don't want to redo them, i want to 3star them the first time, keeping your artillery alive is super important to take out enemy generals in heavy tanks

Buy correct Generals and upgrade them correctly. I'm a speedrunner so i know how one small mistake can affect your entire run especially conquest, not in scenario mode. Even if you make one or two mistakes, you can still achieve 3 stars in every campaign, the biggest factor in campaign is Generals (and their skill) and strategy.

i've bought messe, and i'm saving up for guderian, it's not easy to get 3 stars in all european missions with messe alone so any tip i can use is important, ur forgetting that its not easy to farm medals and guderian is very expensive, u need to complete all the european missions, do 1939 conquests + A rank (which i alreaady did), do 1943 conquest with several nations and get A rank, so doesn't matter about spending resources wisely or whatever, you need to farm enough medals to get the best generals and to do that, u need to beat all the european missions

Farming medals is also not that hard especially on early level, you have so many resource to farm medal just to get Guderian. Invasion (exercise and battle), Domination (accumulate supply etc), achievement medal.

nah, early level domination doesnt earn u that many medals, u can earn a like 10 from invasion, other challenges are also difficult at low level, best way is just through achievements

nah, early level domination doesnt earn u that many medals, u can earn a like 10 from invasion, other challenges are also difficult at low level, best way is just through achievements I have spent months trying to get Guderian only to get my account wiped (I was on PC before WC4 had Cloud). Not fun. Now, after MONTHS of wasting medals, investing correctly, and grinding. I have both Guderian and Konev. Resetting to perfect a campaign will take much more time than just doing trial and error, farming invasions, selling generals, and managing wonders. As a speedrunner, if I used this in EW6 (the game I speedrun the most), this will just add on my time, I can 1 star it and leave, and that's a run all done, rather than spending 1 hour trying a damage-less run. Also, straight out grinding for a month is faster than getting medals you will already get. That's logic. If I try to do Destination Berlin without trying to take damage from Manstein, that would take a pretty long time than just taking damage and still getting 2/3 star. Also, like I said in a different thread, glitches tend to get fixed. This is a glitch. WC4 has gotten a big update, and so have other games. Connect the dots, this is going to be patched sooner or later. EDIT: There is another glitch where you adjust your device's time to speed up missions. Now, this has actual merit as WC4 missions take 6 hours to complete and it saves a bunch of time, but that not the point. The point is that it actually makes you less stressed with farming and if you are busy, you can get more stuff. It helps with grinding in an actually useful way. The skill glitch just makes you more stressed as you have a limited time frame and saves little/add more time to grinding. It makes you more stressed, and does not have actual merit.

how does it make you more stressed, it literally takes less than a minute to trigger the skill, and i don't really understand your what you said about grinding, i'm not going to spend months on this game to grind medals via daily invasions etc, i just want to finish it as fast as possible, this tip with triggering skill is easy to do, not a waste of time, i finished all of european campaigns 3 stars with only messe and low tech, and 95% of the missions i 3 starred on my first go
