It says people who only try to profit and cooperate with illegal virus sites. Our mods don't shower the user in medals, while we all know it is incredibly unethical to troll someone into a virus. So do they just not care about us anymore???

It seems like he's only referring to trying to profit on modification. This has been a tremendous controversy in the modding community in general, and I'm not surprised it's weaved it's way into EasyTech's modding scene.

So do they just not care about us anymore??? Mod is considered a grey area for all easytech games. ET won't go after you unless you step over certain boundaries, but they also won't allow any modding content to be present in the forums/group chats they moderate in.

You can't try to make any profit out of a mod. Every attempt to make money with a mod is illegal - worldwide. Only just a few games with special licences allow add-ons and you ship just your work and not the whole game.

Generally speaking someone tries to set up a Patreon or something for the mod and the entire community goes after the guy's jugular. It happens eventually in pretty much any community eventually and I'd bet my bottom dollar that's what happened recently. It's especially worse for indie games. Larger titles with larger, more expansive mods, it's typically more acceptable within their communities.

That is also why I don't believe in redirecting sites. The creator is paid everytime someone opens it. Contrary to popular belief, MediaFire does not pay Modders anything. We modders should be safe as long as we don't gain anything or take modding outside game modifications.

Well fun fact: she ever tries a mod lel. And you can find a Whole modder (Anime girl mostly) inside the official discord (I'm not promoting). Heck even some of em is part of server official. So it's not they dont care. They just dont want those kind of modder (i use "kind" here because not all modder using mods for money) to get money from properties that they dont belong too since you know money is hard to earn and making game isn't easy my friend.
