So,I have Messe,Leeb and Guderian at the moment.And I have ~1700 medals currently at the Cold War missions. I haven’t completed all hard missions of Europe and haven’t started any in Pacific. So which general is going to be most helpful for the campaigns,Konev or Nimitz? Who should I get first.

I'd probably lean Konev. You will probably find an artillery general more useful in Cold War, since there aren't as many naval engagements, and Nimitz's discount missions are somewhat hard if you don't have a naval general already. Konev deals a lot of damage and can really help you beat levels.
That said, Nimitz is really good, and I think you'd find him useful as well. If you really want a naval general then I say grind out for Nimitz or get Kuznetsov as a rental, but only get a naval general after you've gotten Konev

Also Dönitz would be a longer lastong option as a navy admiral. |

Got Konev and he’s amazing.Next target might be Nimitz or Dönitz.But I’m leaning towards Nimitz because of the 40% discount.

In fact Konev is enough as Infantry general, just give him rumour to increase his usefulness for Infantry general |

Konev can double as an infantry general, so it's not important to have a pure infantry general early on. though I'd suggest you get one eventually, it's needed for a few domination exercises plus frontier mode. |

As he has already bought Nimitz, making Nimitz another Donitz is the better choice now. Upgrading Nimitz to be Donitz is more expensive than getting Donitz but swapping Nimitz for Donitz costs even more. |

I have rumor and artillery barrage. I probably should swap out that skill with something else. maybe crossfire.

Rumor and Explosive, best arty gen shouldn't buff other gens. Though i swapped rumor with jungle fighting once i finished the campaign and domination mode.
