stoic , you interested? Since you're pretty much an expert in the majority of E.T games, would be an asset if you would join and assess different guides put out by the group, as well as make guides from time to time. Yeah, sure... I am a lazy person to create guides on a regular basis, but they are very important indeed for new players. I always liked your guides, btw. They always had a valuable information and were written in good style and with a sense of humour. So, I am glad that you are back! Don't worry, guide making isn't strictly enforced, it's an either/or situation between guide making and guide checking. More members to review the guides the better. Also, Valuable information maybe, good style probably, sense of humor very suspicious. I'm also glad to be back, and i'm also glad you're still active

I want to join too, Deleted . My lack of requirement is nr. 3 - I only play EW4. That's fine actually. The reason I would add John Marston immediately to the group when officially made is due to the fact that he also plays EW4 and makes guides about them. I'll give the same exception to people who play and make guides for wc3.

Ok guys you are set up and ready to go. I gave you the name: [Guide Editors] since you did not have a definitive name and that best describe your stated function, if you want a different name instead that would be fine, just let me know and I'll be glad to make the change. The group color is also a placeholder ask for something else if you prefer. You can start a different thread for group discussion if you want and leave this one or a different one for recruitment, whatever works for you. For a little bit of an extra attention grabber I created a quick mini-banner for you if you want to use that on your first post in the new thread or you can ask for a different one too. Here it is:

So the way members guide updates usually works is like this:
If the group member is the original guide creator then he/she can just edit their own material.
If the group member is not the original guide creator then start a new empty thread in the [World in Flames] board and notify me or one of the staff with what guide you want to work on. Give us a link. We then will make a copy of the original thread and attach it into your post so you can then update the new material. When you are done then let the staff know and we can update the original work and also give you credit for the extras.
Does this makes sense? if not no worry we can work it out step by step when you are ready to update your first guide.

But then again it is much easier to work with what's there, and it clutters the board less.

If you are making a new guide well there is nothing to edit, the new guide is just added to the forum as additional material/information.
If you are modifying an old guide and just updating say a couple items then the original guide still remains and your edits are just added to the original work.
In this way original guide creators still have their work preserved and their names is still attached to their guides we would just be adding and expanding their material.
Anyways is mostly fine by me as long as both the original creator and the member that update both get credit and the final post must reflect that.

I think at the older EW4 library - if this can be a way to make addions without loosing the original work and discussion it will be nice. As Deleted said, we can edit the original post by quoting before, and present the extended version as a new thread in [World of Flames] and tag Saltin with the link of the original to be updated

I would have done more, but there are people like Lucklife and Nhyjj, who do it way better than me.
