Unlike the 1861 guide, i'll only be giving difficulty ratings for nations required to complete conquest achievements. Medical supplies and Medical corps will be needed in some of these conquests. Also, unlike 1861, the conquest is either as easy as breathing, or as difficult as breathing with Asthma with Covid. So only 6 nations will be featured here.
1. Bavaria
Difficulty: 1/5
It's really easy. You split your forces, one goes for France and one goes to beat up the Austrians. Ideally, Austria falls before Russia enters the war. A really quick conquest, no med kit should be used in this conquest
2. Portugal
Difficulty: 4/5
This conquest is stress inducing. Early on, it shouldn't be too difficult as all you need to do is knock out Spain. The problem lies in the fact that the French alliance is the weaker side of the conquest, so your allies are gonna get steamrolled. So you'll be facing a German confederation+Bavaria+Prussia+Ottoman+Bulgaria assault. Doesn't help that the British would be annoying you, so you have to play a mini-game of "defend the English channel from the British while sending forces to defeat them." It requires that you pay a lot of attention to your cities and units, and also resource managemet. 50% of the game is you having low income despite the number of cities you captured due to population limit. Just give up smaller cities and defend major ones, and take advantage of Nikolayevna's aura(damage reduction). It would also help if you bought her item to increase the range of it. But it's not necessary. Spam blast, and defeat your enemies one by one, focus on Bavaria first then Prussia(although you can be unlucky like me, where the prussians managed to capture cities from Russia just after i captured their last city). If you are lucky, the difficulty gets reduced by 1 point. If not, then it can be a 5/5.
3. Spanish Empire
Difficulty: 2/5
Another easy conquest. The only problem is that Russia might put up a fight, and Italy might put up some resistance. But it's the same story as Bavaria. Just beat up the Portuguese and march your allies towards the Italian Peninsula, then towards Russia.
4. Romania
Difficulty: 1/5
If you haven't guessed it yet, it's pretty much easy mode if you ally with the Prussians, provided you can assist them in quickly taking out nearby enemies. Close to Austria, Russia and Italy? Probably the best nation for a low turn count run for 2 stars.
5. Greece
Difficulty: 6/5
The reason it's named Greece is because you're gonna need a lot of grease for that pounding you're gonna get from your enemies. First of all, bad economy. Second, bad location. Third, not a lot of starting units for your generals. You need to beat Bulgaria turn 2 ideally, then beat Romania turn 5 ideally, tho you can extend it to turn 7-8, so you have time to prepare for the Ottomans entering on turn 10. You have to use militias as units for your infantry generals, and you need to send all your generals (except your navy general) towards Prussia, and defend Vienna. It's harder than Portugal early on because you need to be really proactive, as it's easy for you to get destroyed due to your location. Doesn't help that you have a bad economy(coincidence?) so you have to place your generals in militias, light cavalry or light artillery. While taking a stand in Vienna, send some of your units and try to take some Austrian cities that Prussia captured, which would divide their attention. Once the Ottomans and Britain enters, the difficulty spikes up once again, and you really don't want Athens to fall. Once it falls, it's pretty much gg and you need to reset. It's a really difficult conquest, but once you manage to weather the storm, and take out Bavaria and Prussia, the difficult drops to atleast a 4/5 or 3/5, depends how you handled the Ottomans. This probably requires a separate guide on it's own. It also requires the use of quite a lot of medpacks to keep your generals alive, as you can't really afford to let your generals naturally heal using items, as the early onslaught from Bavaria+Prussia+German confederation is intense.
For the 3 star nations, i won't give much description, tho you should pick either, Britain, France, Prussia, Russia or Austria. All of them are easy to an extent, tho Austria can be difficult. Other 3 star nations either aren't as easy or aren't as fast:
Britain:
Difficulty: 1/5
All you need to do is secure a safe landing in France. You also have access to Italy early, along with Portugal. Speedrun nation.
France:
Difficulty:2/5
Blitz Prussia and Spain. A lot of good starting units. Knocking out Prussia shouldn't be too hard, along with Spain.
Prussia:
Difficulty: 1/5
France but easier. Krupp cannons shred cities, rip Austria
Russia:
Difficulty: 1/5
Run over Prussia. Run over the Ottomans. Vroom.
Austria:
Difficulty: 2/5
This can get difficult, but with aggressive play, you can definitely make this conquest easy.
