There has been many complaints about Google drive files not working. This is a general guide to put these questions at rest.
Vital Information:
1. Google drive files are files saved via the cloud and can be deleted at anytime.
2. Link sharing is when anyone can download the file if they have a link to it.
3. Link sharing can be turned on or off at any time, preventing link download.
How do I get a APK if the link is turned off?
1. There is no way to get the APK except emailing the author.
Why do people turn off link sharing?
1. Privacy, feel the need for it, and protection of ideas are a few reasons.

Link shares before a certain date don't work either due to a security update that obsolesced them.

MediaFire,Mega, and Disk all work pretty well with link sharing. They all vanish by the time. Either if they call it security update (stupid for a public! link, but thank you Hobo Joe for the information for gxxgle) or just the service / server disappears. I know and use MediaFire.com - it works really nice for now. Mega and Disk I never encountered as filehoster Darth Vader, do you have experience?

I don't know how to upload files on Yandex and Mega but, they should be very similar to MediaFire. I have downloaded mods from these sources so, it shouldn't be to hard.
