Is significantly investing in Mocte a good choice? While I like his skills, his stats leave much to be desired, and unlike Li Hongzhang or Peter, he doesn't bring Commander to the team.

I would say yes, with some defense auras, he will help the team's durability, and offers one of I believe only 3 healing auras in the game, so you have to pick between Monty, Caesar, or Joan of Arc if you want healing via skill. If you have other plans, Monty isn't a big priority, and you can always go for the expensive route, by getting Caesar, you can get a tank with healing. |

Oh, by the way, is it possible to do NDB with a Discovery team, lots of Item swapping, Genghis, Napoleon, and BoL? No extra items bought, reasonable numbers owned. I only have one leadership gen (Barb), and have not been able to in the past, but I don't want to upgrade Mocte just for this.
