Its been awhile since I seriously played any ET games but I am getting back to playing some with GCR. I used to play ET games on my old ipad and I stopped using it. However I recently found my old ipad while I was clearing my room and due to the ET games still on it I thought back to playing ET games. GCR in particular looked interesting and the time period was quite new for a ET games. One of the factors that specifically lead to me to playing GCR was me watching many history videos about Rome from the Kings and Generals channel. My ipad is too old for it to install any of the newer ET games so I will be playing GCR on my much newer android phone. i had considered getting one of the IAP generals but I ultimately decided to reframe from getting any IAPs. I want to have the difficulty of being a f2p player and a experience that will be relatable. I imagine many of your are probably at the end game and it will take me some time to catch up. For generals I will mostly follow the pathway given by Deleted here european-war-4.boards.net/thread/11323/general-guide-free-play-players I have brought Pacorus as my first generals.

I have completed the Punic Wars campaign from the roman side. This is a screenshot from the final battle. My allies took a beating but my troops broke through in the south to take the bottom right city and then went north to take the final objective. It is nice we got some closing words on the conclusion of the campaign. Onwards to the Spartacus uprising next. The campaign intros are also a nice touch.

I have gotten enough medals to purchase Drusus. Along with Following the general path outlined, I have looked at the thread about him and people have mostly talked goods things about him.

The final battle of the Spartacus Uprising gave a interesting choice. I could play as Pompey or Crassus's army. This campaign really felt like it was led by Crassus so I decided to play as Crasuss's force for the battle. The enemy generals really did have a lot of HP but my repeated attacks eventually defeated them, especially when I completely surrounded one of them.

best75 don't rely on outdated guide recommending Drussus. (Where is Deleted ) Endgame content (like legend mode, decisive battles and conquests) proves that free multiple attacks save Your day. With forced march commander skill can provide annihilation of almost any dangerous opponent. Which is especially important for Archer as he attacks with no retaliation. Literally free kills. And keeping morale high is not an issue. In conquest for example in several active turns I can't find a general to use Oration on. Don't overestimate Inspire

Yep, I am making my commander focus on archer. You might want to go Cavalry focused before it’s too late. I myself started archer and switched cavalry in the late game. Even Deleted has changed his view on the topic and he’s the one who convinced me to change it.

So far I placed all the capability points in archer and used my single archer commander scroll on my commander. If the general consensus is the cavalry I will probably change him when I have a gold abundance and have another archer general.

After some time medals and gold will be so easy to get.
