1- in the Pyrenees
2- in the Catabrican mountains
3- in the Almanzor
For this operation, I will need financial support and nothing else, I already have the bureaucracy in place for support the fronts. Each of these guerillas will be small in number but will slowly grow to invade neighbouring regions. The main guerilla will be in the Pyrenees since it can invade all of northern Spain, useful for us as it creates a second front. The Catabricans will allow us to invade the conservative regions of Castilla y Léon. The Almanzor will help for Toledo. As you read this, operations will have started all around Spain. All I need is your support, so are you in ?

We can join forces against our common enemy, the fascist tyrants and rebels, because we are stronger when our forces come together. Also, of course, there were multiple reasons why the Republicans could not win in the real-life Civil War, but one of them was that they could not join forces, on the contrary, they even fought among themselves. If we want to win, we must not make this mistake.
We do not expect any benefits in return for the alliance. All I ask of you are Spanish Republic be in the Comintern, permission for my army to move in your lands in the war against Rebels, a few military bases and naval escort so that we can assist and support you in battle (because I'm not even in Iberian peninsula, so how can I send help there without these?)
We may have some ideological differences with anarchists, but what difference does that make? Moreover, these problems are solvable, and actually they are not even a problem. Because even though our tools and ways are different, our aims are similar: a classless, free, equal, fraternal world... And it would certainly be better if we were allies rather than Fascist domination. As the USSR we respect the sovereignty and ideology of the Anarchists and expect the same from them. Of course, the choice is yours. Only for Eugene V. Debs and CaptainI agree, but the FAI will not allow any foreign or communist party fighers on anarchist territory without the FAIs authorisation. The USSR's communist party brigades can fight on Captain's territory. Also, the USSR will not attempt to manipulate any elections or the goverment. We don't have anything against a new ally, but we don't want our comrades to be purged and persecuted like in real life. Only for Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov and CaptainOf course, I agree.
By the way, the Germans did not have a land or base in Iberian Peninsula at the beginning of neither this RP nor the real life war. So Germany have to transport its troops via sea to the peninsula to be able to do any attack or move in Spain, and since you both have a navy, I think you can blockade Rebel-controlled territory of peninsula with your warships and/or lay some naval mines and in this way delay German support (and allow ships that have been checked and certified as Republican to enter peninsular waters for I can send help you). This distraction could have atleast bought us some time. |
