Uh, can I ask why is Aetius a good archer general? It's because of his speed. With right units in his legion he can attack up to 4 times per turn. Mamelukes, Mongolian horse archers, Ravenna crossbowmen, woad skirmishers - all these units synergize well with his active skill and passive ability to synchronise the speed of a legion. Aetius is a goated free gen (forced march best skill)

simeon is so op i dealt 999 damage to ivar and killed him I have to be honest: I don’t regret having bought Alfred and when you have it, you just don’t need even Simeon if you possess Basil. The best decision is to get Alfred and Simeon. Alfred still remains more important compared to the bulgar king thanks to his marvellous survivability with damage reduction and “tunneling”, but not self sufficient without the Byzantine emperor. I have a feeling we will still need 3 good cavalry generals in the future update. So why not buying all of them?

Together with Imperial Scale Armor he will be quite sturdy gen with high attack potential due to high charge rate. Scary opponent.

Yes, even more than a Cnut with the same damage reduction and scale armor. Alfred is a Scipio with steroids

On your first screenshot counter was triggered, so Alfred took more damage.

On first screenshot only one noble cav charged. On the second - two. Not proper testing Need to be same terms with many tries to make a summary

Charge cavalry expert is one of the best attacking skills available.
Alfred should get this instead of Melee cavalry expert as they plan...

Not proper testing Need to be same terms with many tries to make a summary Ok Alfred with armor(10%dmg reduction), his unique item and double charge (on the 62nd attempt): I had -90 damage and I dealt +1107 with -34 morale reduction I’m out of home, I’ll post later the screenshot. *post updated
