Charge cavalry expert is one of the best attacking skills available. Alfred should get this instead of Melee cavalry expert as they plan... Make a petition pls 😭 |

It's because of his speed. With right units in his legion he can attack up to 4 times per turn. Mamelukes, Mongolian horse archers, Ravenna crossbowmen, woad skirmishers - all these units synergize well with his active skill and passive ability to synchronise the speed of a legion. Aetius is a goated free gen (forced march best skill) Just look at Narses in archer mode |

Here you are more tests in order, just like andrei wanted  (all double charge). 1)SIMEON with "Immortality" at lvl 5 and blue horse (12cav points)  2)Simeon with blue -10% armour and Alfred's unique item  3)Simeon with Alfred's unique item and blue horse  4)Simeon with blue -10% armour and blue horse  5)BASIL II with "Immortality" at lvl5 and his blue horse (+24cav point). It took me "only" 5 attempts to get double charge on him, compared to the 62 on Alfred (maybe luck or it is all thank to "headhunting").  |

I don't think that Headhunting has anything to do with charge activation. I tested Basil's headhunting and his trigger of a charge hardly is any better that that of Alfred or any other general without Charge cavalry expert.

What did make You think so? Woad raider has one of the best skills in the game. And they’re easily upgradable. Robin Hood on woad riders with his unique item must be a fierce opponent. Robins item upgrades infantry capability as well, how good would he be with 2 archers and 1 infantry? If you use ravenna + woad then you don't need a melee cav Woad has 10 mobility, ravenna negates mountain mobility cost and woad negates forest terrain cost, both decrease attack cost to 4 or 5 What would be the best option for the third slot? another woad or ravenna? |
