Only for Darth Revan_You must not let the Persians pass. If you do so, you will choose endless suffering under Achaemenid tyranny.

That's not very cool of you Manfred von Richthofen. Anyways in response to this declaration I have mobilized the army and armed the civilians and have them build fortifications across the land, the people of Boeotia shall fight tooth and nail for every square inch of land of their great homeland! Sorry, but you cannot arm your civilians and/or recruit more soldiers by any way, as it is written in the first rule in the rules section. So, everyone's armies are limited with the numbers in the first post. Also, you cannnot say that you have already built fortifications on your whole country in just one post. Because that's unrealistic. Completions of fortification constructions in RPs can take pages to be completed, depends on its length and quality. But of course, a fortification of a city or a line between two cities will naturally need less time than whole of a country.

The 30 triremes in the reserve come to the aid of the fleet being attacked by your fleet. They rally the remaining triremes to reform our defensive formation. The Athenian fleet surrounds the Persian fleet while it is trying to reform its formation and we deal the deathblow by attacking, so the Persian fleet loses many of its triremes. The newly arrived reinforcements of 200 triremes make a concentrated attack on Western portions of the Athenian fleet surrounding my fleet and with numerical superiority breaks throw and links up with the surrounded fleet.

With our overwhelming numerical superiority, we encircle and attack your fleet on all sides. This causes huge damage to your fleet. They form a circle with their fronts outward making it hard for the enemy to attack without big casualties. 70 triremes charge at the South of your circle and continue to attack that part, soon your southern arc of the circle begins to wither away.

I would like to propose a new rule to make land battles more realistic. Unlike in WW1 and 2, in ancient times open battles lasted only a few hours, which is not well reflected by the RP time simulation (1 page is 1 month), this basically means if a battle lasts for multiple pages, many alliances could have been made and whole new army could have appeared - in a few hours. To solve this problem I propose a rule: Once a battle has started, neither side can reinforce their army with infantry further than 10 kilometres away or with cavalry further than 20 kilometres away. When reinforcing from an allowed distance, the distance still has to be taken into account. Additionally no new faction can join the battle. Since there hasn't been any land battles yet, it hasn't yet become a problem, but it could be relevant really soon. Also, sieges are a different thing and you can obviously avoid the other army and make alliances and send reinforcements as you wish. What do you think? Also, if the rule feels unfair to someone, I get it, but I really think it would add alot of realism.
