Persian Infantry too forms a phalanx of 1000 soldiers wide with 6 soldiers deep. The cavalry [1000 strong] is stationed on the right flank of the army. The army in Neapolis starts moving up the peninsula and will attack Potidaea from South. This army will arrive in Potidaea in 2 posts. All the infantry retreats to the city and prepares to defend. My army settles in for a seige of Potidaea. |

With reinforcements of 50 triremes, the force blockading Potidaea had already shored up to 90 triremes. The other 60 triremes that were used to transport and escort the army to Neapolis too arrive to shore up the said force. Now 150 triremes have assembled there to blockade Potidaea. Another 200 triremes are being sent to blockade the Greek force blockading the Persian force blockading Potidaea. They are expected to arrive in 6 posts. 35 triremes from Gigonus join the fleet that blockading the Persian Fleet. And 120 triremes attack the blockaded Persian Fleet. 120 of my triremes take formation in a straight line to defend against your attack while rest of them remain in reserve. Now that the reinforcements of 200 triremes had arrived, they attack the rear of your fleet. Another 200 triremes are being sent as reinforcement, they are expected to arrive in 6 posts. |

The act of aggression against Boeotia by Sparta is preposterous. They want war and they shall get war. The Achaemenid Empire will be more than pleased to assist the Boeotian people defend their homeland and their freedom. Therefore, I offer to you an alliance against Sparta and a force of 30,000 Infantry to defend against Spartan aggression. Together we shall crush Sparta.

30,000 Infantry is heading to Boeotia through Macedonia and Thessaly to assist the Boeotian people defend their homeland from Spartan tyrants. They shall arrive at the border of Thessaly and Macedonian in 3 posts ifvunhindered. For the naval battle in Potidaea, if we could make a hole in the Persian line and take formation in a narrow line that their numerical superiority would be meaningless, just like in the Battle of Salamis in real life, so we would have an important advantage. Also, when their new reinforcements arrive, the Persians will have about 520 triremes on there.
As for Boeotia, the 30,000 Persian soldiers have to pass from either sea or my land, Delphi, to be able to reach Boeotia. If we don't want to be surrounded on our motherlands by Persia and Boeotia, we should defeat Boeotia before the Persians arrive. If Persia chooses to pass from Delphi, I can keep their soldiers for a while, but not forever. Though, I think it may give us time which is important while fighting against Boeotia. |
