Yes, mobilize+repeated fire+rhino lvl3+desperate wager is OP And Arthur's bond for example turns mediocre Lancelot (properly equipped) into a machine gun with million attacks.
It is insanely strong combo making conquests a joke if using several generals with this combo. Gens with this combo are just way better than any other gen even much stronger in terms of single attack.

Furthermore, if you have a Cavalry mobility +1 national policy as well as Pathfinder, it is possible to get even more.

This is coming back Belisarius to top need gens I agree, it's just a shame that his unique units are very hard to get. Only through Raids and hardly anyone wants to do that with T4 or spend Soul of War.

Just for your information, mobility is capped at 20, and you can make up to 10 attacks from that. How to increase mobility? Use Pathfinder commander like Gelimer in your comp to spice thing up

This is coming back Belisarius to top need gens Don’t you get him from normal game play? I’ve had him from early on and I don’t think I bought him

I’ve had him from early on and I don’t think I bought him Of course everyone has it the question is that the later the game is, the less you use him, as for f2p players he lacks unique weapon and offensive abilities I guess from chapter 6 or something like this - I never took him from the shelf

Use Pathfinder commander like Gelimer in your comp to spice thing up The question is : can you use all 20 in reality, and are you ready to sacrifice 1-3 general slots for supporting units? 10 times attack will destroy 3-4 stacks in 1 turn, do we really face so many at one 1 place?

20 mobilities and 10 attacks are for cap and you won't need and shouldn't use them most of the time. The optimal is to use group of 2 or 3 heroes like in the first post, not like 5+ heroes to make 20 mobilities.
The research of this one is practical in certain campaign/legend and mainly in territory for those who you need to use half of enemy power to beat them.

It's not a main factor, main factor is a quantity of war drums, because you need to spend it for maximum damage. IMO 3-4 attacks per turn with damage 3k better than 10 with damage 1k which Lancelot can afford with bond.

andrei, hrabrimalitoster, I'm thinking about getting the desert crescent (desperate wager+1); is multi attack Lancelot still a thing?

It is interesting whether someone is using Lancelot as a cavalry general. He has 14% damage bonus as a cavalry man (melee or charge) in comparison to an archer. And with all these gems around he should be a decent cavalry general with multiple attacks.
