Try to get 14 pass coins, if you have 14 coins you can see all your opponents and after decide are you ready to fight with them or maybe better reroll them.

So far Morale boost is a must do thing in Expedition, also archers, even OP are not so good in this mode. Varangians and Templars with charge and high morale is a way to go. It means that you don't need to upgrade any archer units in this game, Mamluks are good in defence only.

Tell me how many times you can play the expedition. And what is the interval between expeditions. Someone writes that it is increasing.

There should be a a day or two in between the refreses. I find the game a little to intens with both battle and expedition in addition to campaigns, conquests and a little grinding. Hopefully there will be a little break before the next battle season.

I have completed all campaigns and special chapters (but I haven't bought Edward yet) and 97% of conquests. I have absolutely nothing to do at the moment

I had Hardrada with Outburst on 4 turns cooldown and it was too long in my opinion. It was a blessing when they released a helmet with Outburst as a skill. There is a significant difference between 3 and 4 turns cooldown. And since Edward's weapon is p2w, he is worse than Simeon without it. Of course, I will buy him eventually to play his special chapter, but I doubt that I will use him otherwise. And even William the Iron Arm is better as an Infantry general

Mine has Joyeuse for a bit of damage reduction and purple gems. He works just fine

If someone is there to replace another general fallen in battle he is a bench warmer I don't see any reason for hiding his weapon behind a pay wall. F2p players won't use him much because he hasn't his weapon, p2w players won't use him much because they have much better generals even when he has his weapon.

One more trick. On last 5 battle before main fight you can use fast bronze general with poisoning and master arsonist effects, you need poisoning and arsonisting strong opponent generals and avoid enemy forces as much as you can, then poisoning and arsonisting again before die. After that main fight will be easy, without 1-2 best opponent general. Don't use this skills at generals with medical tents and support wagons.
PS. At any time before last unit die you can retreat and try once again, maybe with better result.
