Since Epic Battles are the most profitable farming ground so far (we get gold, medals, Honor of Quest points and other good stuff) I think it is time to discuss the best strategies, so that our runs could be as effortless as possible. I haven't any doubts that yuanzhong will find the way to farm it on auto one day  but until then let's share our best plans and tips. I even haven't touchted the new contents of this update  Can you show me the daily reward of epic wars. |

Don't know why my score is low but still S rank. Seems occuping cities is faster than killing the target. As stated by hrabrimalitoster franks is faster to finish.

As stated by hrabrimalitoster franks is faster to finish. i would like a breakdown (who, where, when) or a screen-guide on Franks if one of you has the time. if it is truly faster and good for farming. bc felt like a pain to me. |

I can't won any epic battle they are hard . i would go with romans for now: timur with archers as spawned gen. 1-5 turns: belisarius mastercommander for the win: turn 1 recruit legion brigade( mine are lvl 10). take reims. do not move too close to metz! (not in the whole game nessacary actually) wait for reinforcments and timur to catch up. turn 4-9 take amiens and hold reims. have timur and cnut kill about 3 enemy gens. retreat your original aetius (the game gives you) he must not die or morale drop. 10-15 give timur banner chariot and walk trough the enemies with 2 gens in company to occupy strassburg. kill 1 or 2 gens on the way. your allies help you defend. take strassburg. 15-20 and if needed walk him back to kill last enemy gens or finish those with help of your allies. |

  These are my results, and unlike the others, the Frankish Kingdom was the easiest and fastest for me, I finished the Umayyad Dynasty with the least number of turns, but there is a lot of micromanagement and it's a bit tiring. Rome is my second choice. Loool how did you get 400+ k in second opposite battle? I did probably my lifetime battle and not get so high😂      It seems the score is based on how many enemy units you defeat. |

Turn1-5 wait till odo ask for help.
Turn 13-winter came umayyad morale decrease
When Nabonne city defence is 50% reinforcement from south arrives
When Bordeaux city defence is 50% reinforcement from west arrives
Don't head on the arriving enemies, go around to capture the city. Once a city is capture have a general with master commander to recruit units in lower cost, and stay.

How do you unlock the epic battles ? It won’t let me play the first two stages and also how do you unlock the John lacklands treasure too??

ruffruder, I don't remember, I just kill everything in my path and capture cities as fast as I can. My archer generals make it a lot easier for me, for which I use the combination of IBC lv14 + MR lv14 + MA lv15.

It won’t let me play the first two stages and also how do you unlock the John lacklands treasure too?? johns treasure is locked for everybody. we have no idea how epic war unlocks bc our progression was so far that it came unlocked in the update, sry. it is probably finishing a certain campaign, reconstruction maybe. |

Just for quick information for challenger (You probably need to have all extra slot to be eligible).
Top score in Discord for:
Battle of Chalons _ Western Roman Empire 515,070
Battle of Chalons _ Hunnic Empire 396,180
Battle of Poitiers _ Frankish 517,915
Battle of Poitiers _ Umayyad 494,470
I would say it's doable for strategist with 3 initial general slot that willing to spend time to get over 500k score for each battle.
