Ok so now I have gotten Caesar and I will try with infantry. Whom should I get next? Nobunaga, shimin or jebe? Also is cleo good enough or is Khalid a better buy, if I don't get shimin. Thank you

Thank you Nobunaga. Imo it's worth upgrading Cleo and/or Khalid for the early game as well now even if you do plan on getting Li, as they come in handy for the Arena, Paris, Legend mode and some campaigns too. I'd slightly favour Khalid but I do like Cleo too. |

Thank you Definitely Nobunaga. You really don't get a good archer for free - even Mulan won't hold up well later on. Plus, his debuffs are amazing. Wait for Barbarossa and Saladin, and you should definitely be able to make a strong infantry team. That cheapness is one of the benefits of an infantry team. I would buy Khalid, I just prefer him over Cleo due to a strong debuff (works in later stages) and a great active compared to Cleo's mediocre (doesn't work against gods and monsters) debuff and great passive. Right now, in terms of medals, focus on getting Nobby, then upgrade his debuffs to level 6. After that, focus on maxing Caesar's Braveness and get his Healing Master to level 6. Conquests are good for the medal achievements, and be sure to do plenty of Empire missions to rack up your Daily Missions. |

Probably: level 6 is good enough for Commander and Spy, and Comm buffs other arty and Spy remains active for other team members' hits. Rumour is very useful sometimes but you need to get up to level 7 or 8 for >20% chance, 9 for 26% & 10 for 30%, plus inspiration is a personal trait only. Cleo's mobility is handy too but iirc she only has it in certain ages. However, in this game I didn't feel the need to upgrade Khalid's Comm until Empire and haven't touched his Spy yet; you'll usually find there are other priorities to spend your medals on and ideally we'd have them both for the 16 man Arena team. |

I agree with Iron Duke Most likely we don't need any other Artillery general besides Khalid and Cleo for completing all campaigns on normal difficulty. They have different sets of skills and compliment each other well. They are free, easy to upgrade and useful. Most likely these two will be my choice of Artillery squad until I seriously decide to try Ust-Nera missions. And I am considering Heihachiro as my third Artillery general because of his newly released weapon. |

Yet, it is an exceptionally good item, I believe, because there are 🌊 surfaces in many of new missions and a guaranteed critical hit without retaliation can be really helpful. |

Is it useful to build the Paris fort?? My answer is "yes". Even if you are not planning to upgrade your castle properly there are many milestone rewards (including medals) for upgrading particular buildings. Plus it is not particularly challenging to defend your castle. My opponents are still late Middle age/early Empire age generals. |

Also can Peter or petain be possible substitute to barbarossa or not I would rather add them than substitute him because he comes "for free" and is the only inf general with leadership. This means he can help in arena even at lower levels and is important in trials. |
