Only for Darth NihilusJust how I can imagine yours has, has our frustration to the ever hesitant British grown larger than ever. I believe it is a disgrace for the largest empire and the largest free and cicilised country in the history of mankind to show such cowardice to step up against the iron fists of the totalitarian regimes that are the single largest menace, Europe has ever faced.
In Poland I see a beacon of sanity in this dark age of Europe, but I also see the peril that faces you from both east and west. I see it crucial to keep this light alive.
Therefore, if you accept a treaty of friendship and alliance between France and Poland, we are ready to send an expeditionary force of 200,000 soldiers, 900 tanks, 1000 guns, 300 fighters and 100 bombers to Poland as soon as possible.
We will also try to persuade the British cowards to step up and do the same - as soon as their prime minister wakes up - you see, he is having a nap. |

As our manpower cannot fight a long war of attrition against the Germans, I will proceed to create a defensive line as soon as possible. |

Poland begins construction on light defensive structures. Maginot Line defensive bonus (for comparison): 3 Polish defensive line: 0.1 It took the French 10 years to build the Maginot line, which was 280 miles (450 km). For a line that is 1/30 as strong, it will take one army one month to build 112.5 km worth of fortifications. We will use three armies in Group South to build a 337.5 km defensive line from Krakow to Lodz, through Katowice, taking four pages. Two armies from Group North will build a 112.5 km defensive line north of Bialystok, taking two pages. With a manpower of 1 million soldiers, we can field 10 armies of 100 000 soldiers each, separated into three army groups: North (200k), West (500k), and South (300k). That gives us two armies near Bialystok (N), and three armies in the Lodz - Krakow defensive line (W). Our remaining armies are stationed in Gdansk (W), Bydgoszcz (W), L'viv (S), Warsaw (S), and Lublin (S). All bridge crossings over the Vistula will be armed with bombs. We estimate this will take us ten pages. Standardized army size: 100k soldiers 50 tanks; 50 in reserve 400 guns; 300 in reserve 50 fighters; 100 in reserve 10 bombers (W and S), 20 bombers (N); 80 in reserve Reinforcements created in factories will automatically go to the army that has suffered the most damage, with priority given to Army Group West. The easternmost fortifications that you see are to prevent Germany from launching attacks through East Prussia. Indeed, with the amount of time it would take to construct extensive fortifications similar to the ones seen in France, we can only hope to delay the enemy for enough time to allow our forces to regroup elsewhere.
As you can see, our eastern flank is relatively unguarded, with only one army stationed in L'viv. This shows our trust in your agreement with the UK. We trust that you will respect our sovereignty as well. |

I think we can assume that there's uncertainty in general, except one inevitable thing: the threat of Germany and Italy. Should we wait until all our preparations are ready, or should we take the initiative against them? It is clear that we should be ready for a war every moment because of the current uncertainty of the enemy's actions, and we should not underestimate them no matter what. Their current actions are uncertain, which makes the situation so too as well as suspicious, but it is also clear that we should not, and cannot, wait for a long time either, this would give birth to a new static war, but this time, in terms of action rather than type of war. So, I'd like to hear your opinions. As Darth Nihilus has allowed me to transport a maximum of 1.2 million soldiers, I may transport some armies to Poland soon. But, what then? Should we attack Germany then, or keep waiting to see its actions, which have seemed silent so far? Also, what about Italy? Let's say we have attacked Germany, then Italy may open a front against France and/or send aid to Germany, assuming that Italy will alliance with Germans. So, are we all ready for such a situation yet? So, what are your opinions about these matters? |
