Österreich täglich A message from our leader: "Who determines the borders of a nation and how are they determined? At one point, our empire spanned a great many borders which exist now, some which we have dismantled, and some which still thwart us. The Allies justification for dismantling our great nation is based only on weakening our power. They could never understand the culture that unites our proud people. As such, the decision on where Austria-Hungary ends and Yugoslavia begins are invalid. We have entered a new era, an era in which the cultural importance of this border cannot be overstated, and we are well within our rights to shift it to ensure the continued unity of all Austro-Hungarian peoples." It is safe to assume with this statement that the reclamation of Northern Slovenia will continue, even with potential hostilities threatened by the Allies. Unlike the Czechoslovakian question, this issue would have no affect on any of the Allies borders, nor is it a country that any of the Allies have a connection with. As such, we hope to avoid war with any parties besides the ones we wish to reintegrate. Only time will tell. The people stand ready. Ruhm für Österreich! Ruhm für Ungarn! Ruhm dem Imperium!

Only for Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov , Eugene V. Debs Austria-Hungary's expansion is becoming worrisome. Their territory was rightfully reduced after the Great War in response to their aggression, and it seems that they wish to return to their glory days. Should we do anything about this?

I begin the reclamation of Slovenia.
First, my fighters initiate an all-out attack against the enemy fighters in an attempt to gain immediate air superiority (+3 outnumber bonus ) mje3gIcb
Then, I begin a bombing run to soften up the enemy lines (bombing runs can do up to +2 normal attack casualties, but the casualties the bombers take is based on the number of opposing fighters).
Finally, I finish off with an artillery barrage, to further weaken the enemy's lines. This attack has a +1 bonus, .5 from guns, and .5 from bombers. (Artillery barrages can do up to +3 normal attack casualties, unless the enemy is encircled, in which case the cap is +3 all out attack, or it's selective fire against fellow artillery, in which there is no cap)
(The two dice rolls are one for each army. Since both are split between two provinces, the casualties will be split in half between the two.)·······

The results of this engagement were abysmal except for those on the Transylvanian front. Austrian front casualties: 24,000 Austro-Hungarian (576,000 left) 4,716 Yugoslavian (183, 934 left) Hungarian front casualties: 58,630 Austro (527,666 left) 30,000 Yugo (168,087 left) Transylvanian front casualties: 30,000 Austro (570,000 left) 116,424 Yugo (77,616 left) due to their abysmal performance, both Austrian and Hungarian fronts will suffer a -.5 morale debuff, lowering their bonus to +3.5 (rounded to 4). Transylvania will gain a +1 morale buff, bringing their total to +5 I will wait to make any more attacks until another player posts. Here is a map of the current gains: Purple represents the push, and pink represents where the current Frontline is at

Casualties- Austrian front: 558,720 Austro left, 178,416 Yugo left Hungarian front: 485,453 Austro left, 126,174 Yugo left Transylvanian front: 524,400 Austro left, 57,669 Yugo left Buffs and Debuffs: Austrian front troops have the stats as last time, meaning they need a 4 to win Hungarian front troops gain a +.5 morale boost and +2 rout bonus, however they suffer from a -1 fatigue debuff, meaning they need a 3 to win Transylvanian front troops gain a +.5 morale boost, and since their enemy has been routed twice, they face a -2 morale debuff plus the -2 rout debuff (which I forgot to factor last time for this army lol). However, they have a -1 fatigue penalty and a -1 distance penalty, meaning they get a +8 total boost. map of the current battle gains: (The colors inside represent the Yugoslavian troops.) Because of the trajectory of the encircling attacks, 1/4th of the middle Yugo army is stuck in the northern pocket, bringing the northern pockets numbers to 209,960 troops. A similar thing happens to the south, with the southern yugo army being split in half, raising the number of troops in the middle pocket to 123,465

The Transylvanian army group is left with 498,180 men The Hungarian army group is left with 475,740 men The enemy is left with only 24,693 men. Being completely encircled, demoralized, outgunned, outmanned, and having faced 90% losses, the Yugoslavian middle army surrenders. The map below will show the current ground situation. Some of the armies have been reorganized for the best combat advantage. Everything in the pink is strongly controlled by the Austro-Hungarian army.
This will be the final of my attacks today. I will not attack again until another player posts or another day passes.

Artillery army 3 preforms an all-out attack against the Northern Yugoslav pocket. My army has -1 fatigue, +2 for encirclement, +.5 for gun, +.5 for bombers, +1 morale, and a + 1 for the enemy's rout (+1 instead of +2 due to the northern pocket being 2 Yugoslavian armies). The enemy also has -1 morale +1 defense, for a total of +3 advantage. 4 to draw, 7 is max

Artillery army 4 preforms a normal attack against the Southern pocket. They have -1 fatigue, -1 distance, +2 morale, +2 rout, -2 enemy morale, +.5 gun, +.5 bomber. The enemy has +1 defense, for a total bonus of +4 advantage. 3 to draw, 7 is max
