I have six generals, two for inf, cav, and archer, and I don't know who to put my equipment on.
My gens are(in order of usage): Inf: Pompey, Vercingitorix
Cav: Arminius, Belisaurus
Archer: Commander, Mithridates
Commander has Augustus armor lvl 1, and dragon tripod lvl 1 Arminius has laurel crown lvl 2 and caduceus lvl 2 Belisaurus has golden spear lvl 2 and gold crown lvl 2 Pompey has africanus armor and tuts daggers, both lvl 1 Vercingitorix has cartrage and shield of thunder lvl 1 Mithridates has only gladius

For example, there are skills that are dependent on high moral. For example, your Vercingentorix has a skill named Roar. Shield of Thunder lvl 1 is almost useless for him, but if you upgrade this item to lvl 2 it is completely another story. With this single move you increase his crit rate by (potentially) enormous 25 percent. Both one skill and talant of Mithridates are dependent on high moral. And so on... Equip your best generals (by "best" I mean generals you use more often than the rest) with your best items. Set up priorities when you buy/upgrade items for your generals. Generally speaking, items that increase moral and crit rate are more useful than items that increase other attributes. But it is only a general rule.

I'm new here, so thanks, stoic, for answering.
So my top priority is on commander, Arminius, and Pompey in regards to equipment and upgrades.
Another question, is there any other equipment I should get?

Only thing that really jumps out at me is that you've got Tut's Dagger on Pompey. Obviously, the more damage you do, the better the Dagger is. Now Pompey is solid, tanky and wonderful, but he isn't going to be your biggest damage dealer. After kind of ignoring the Dagger for a while, I put it on my cavalry Commander and didn't regret it, though now my Commander has the Ganjing Sword and Beli Tut's Dagger. Considering if I should give one to Vercy though.
Seems like you've got most of the best equipment already. I'd use crossbow for extra crits over gladius or cartage.

Thanks for telling me that, I completely forgot about tuts daggers. I'll probably move it too beli since he's my heavy hitter. As for crossbows, I got cartridge on Vercingitorix to help with his movement speed since he's slow. Getting crossbows doesn't sound like a bad idea though.

Yeah, speed is a problem for Vercy, but once you get elite armor (if you aren't doing the Senate missions, you should be) that will resolve it. For now you could swap for the Caduceus since Arminius doesn't need it so much.

Another question, is there any other equipment I should get? There are few decent ways to equip our commander. Probably Golden spear + Ganjiang sword is the most potent combination if our Commander is the best damage dealer (as he should be). But, on the other hand, every good general (especially cavalry generals) is impressive when equipped with Golden spear and Ganjiang sword. So, I equipped my Commander with Consul's scepter and Dragon Tripod. Effects of Scepter and Commander's uniform do stack. It allows me to use my Commander as a support general as well as DD.

I thought it was an iap, but I don't remember. Oh and I also put tuts daggers on beli, and that helps a lot more than when it was on an Inf gen.

There are two swords with similar names: Goujian sword (it is an IAP item) and Ganjiang sword (unlocked after completing chapter 11 Deceisive battle)

Yes that's what I've been thinking.
Chapter 11 is the Sicily campaign right? Because I tried that decisive battle and I've never gotten all stars on it.
Also completely off topic, but I got an upgrade. I'm staff sergent now. How does that work?

Also completely off topic, but I got an upgrade. I'm staff sergent now. How does that work? Do you mean these ranks or something else? And,yes, Sicily is quite an annoying campaign but there are several ways to complete it. 1. Buy Cleopatra. She can be useful in other modes of the game and she makes all naval battles relatively easy. She is not a "must", but she is cheap, so you won't spend much. 2. Make sure, that your generals have a corresponding boost for naval battles. 3. Moral is very important in Naval engagements. The more generals you have with unshakeable high moral - the better.

How does that work? then i would reccomend you to get Agrippa and with an addition of Cleopatra if u still found the Sicily decisive a little bit hard. Agrippa is basically the Huo or Hannibal or Caesar or Mithridates VI of Naval units. He can 1 v 1 with most naval unit easily while Cleo more for support (Aura buff). For Agrippa give Africanus Uniform + Golden Mask/Dragon Tripod while for Cleo ehhh any spare equipment/artifact. Also as for the upgrade for every time you reach a certain message target you will promoted so from Corporal to Staff Sergeant and etc (I hope before staff sergeant is corporal since i already forgotten the rank).

OK thanks for clearing those up. I found it hard because I get a lot of terrible units on some stages, but I'll and get agrippa or cleopatra, then beat the battle. Also if ranks work by messages, then imagine the amount of hours stoic put into this forum.

No, I got this one by participating in speed run conquests we organize from time to time In GCR there was a competition too european-war-4.boards.net/thread/11324/conquest-records-thread?page=1
