Ok so quick status update, I am super close to getting the resources to upgrade the ganjiang sword.
Another thing is, now that I took of tuts daggers from beli, I realized how important the damage heal effect is. Belis cav commander is high, so he attacks 3, maybe 4 times a turn. I didn’t have the scrolls to upgrade gerulla, as I spent them all on Arminius, so he attacks many times in one turn, while enemy’s counter attack on non kill shots. That’s no problem on light inf, archers, but when you get to heavy stuff+generals, the counterattack really racks up. I frequently have to send him back to city’s to replenish during conquest because of that. Tuts daggers helped a lot with that, and since the sword does the same thing upgraded, I truly think he’s gonna be better than my commander

Unfortunately, a special unit of Arminius is quite fragile. So, the difference between Belisarius and Arminius in Epic War missions is noticeable.

That’s true, but I put commander on archer so I’m comparing them through damage and skills. Like who attacks more, and does more damage. Who can survive a horde of enemy’s longer.
For me I hold damage in high regard, because I believe that destroying enemy’s quickly is better than tanking all of those hits

Ok so I perfect completed every campaign before scourge of god, and completed all the missions, finishing gothic war today. Using the medals I got from that, I got the consul scepter, and it buffed my damage by an insane amount, so thanks for that suggestion. One problem is I don’t see it working together with the special uniforms. I used Galicia but it looked like it only have the 15% buff to infantry. I also need a little help with the first stage of destruction of Pompeii, if you guys could guide me.

I completed the first mission of destruction of Pompeii with 3 stars, and the others with one. I also have atieus now and I’m building him up as my main navy commander and third infantry commander. I also upgraded beli’s gainjang sword to 2 and I’m going to make vercingitorix’s sheild of thunder upgraded so I can use him with max efficiency. If you guys have anything else I can do, you’re welcome to help me. You guys have been a great help for me, and I can’t thank you enough for it.

After completing all campaigns try to unlock (and to upgrade) as many pets as possible. They are very helpful in Epic wars. But since our resources are limited - you have to set up priorities. Read this, so that you could have a clear picture what to do next and how much it will cost you. european-war-4.boards.net/thread/17911/monsters-stats-abilitiesBehemoth is a top priority (provided you can unlock him). Mammoth, Anubis, Terracotta warriors and Cyclops are also very good. Griffin also may be helpful because he is the fastest unit in the game.

I second Stoic, with the addition that cyclops is the second strongest pet after behemoth. I'm not sure I'd put a lot of resources into Aetius, although you should be able to farm medals reasonably quickly by now. I may be remembering wrong, but I don't think there are any late-game missions where you really need a specialized navy general, and while he's pretty good on infantry, if you're going to go with three infantry generals in your epic war lineup, you'll want better - Bato or perhaps Burebista. He can be useful for clearing DBs and that's about it.

Yes I heard Bato was like a vercingatorix with wheels, but never really had the resources or patience to test him out myself. Now that I’m in the end game, I guess I’ll bring him along. And as for the pets, where do you get the behemoth? As of now I’m on the oracle stage 2.

Dang it. I’m getting closer though. I’m on pillars of Hercules, and I’m breezing through it with beli. On war elephants he easily does 700-900 damage to heavy units, even more around commander

I completed all campaigns perfectly, and I am now in campus martius, so things are moving along smoothly. I have one question though. What monster should I upgrade to max first? As of now, I have goblin(maxed), mammoth, terracotta warrior, Griffin, and minotaur.

As of now, I have goblin(maxed), mammoth, terracotta warrior, Griffin, and minotaur. You won't go wrong with either mammoth or terracotta warrior, you'll want to max both eventually anyway. Griffin may be worth upgrading, its speed can be useful and it hits reasonably hard against light-armored units, but it's lower priority. Minotaur probably isn't worth it, I upgraded it to around level 6 and regretted spending the gems. Goblin is weak, upgrading it was a waste. By the way, if you haven't done the expeditions, you should, the sooner you get Governor of Asia for daily gems, the better.
