Idk how but save/reload does not work. It gives the very same drops each time after reload. Yep, the lucky days (strange things I am saying  but, hey, these were lucky in comparison to the present) of EW7 are over. You get what you get, that's it... |

So new round of questions 1. Are tenkabito enemy units always lvl 6 or do they increase over time (didnt pay attention in the beginning) [edit: yes does increase, but the rest remains: ->] if so what is their lvl after much progress, what can i expect. 2. Are unit upgrades a)necessary b) good investements/payoff, bc i certainly didnt uprgade anything yet but start to struggle in certain tenkabito missions and library hero legend. Or is the increase too insignificant to matter bc it looks like it. 3. What does LEVEL of the general even do? SolidLight sold experience items for coins. I am starting to think it a very good move. But what would a high lvl gen even increase, i dont notice anything. 4. Do you have any reccomended items we should invest in. This game has so much stuff. Just stuff and materials. That i still dont have an overview on what all the items are for and which items are good. Some items seem to be super special if you have a combination of several items they give a bonus? Idk 5. Also any info on what having the gen deployed on their special unit does. Only number 3 😁 It is definitely not completely useless, especially in the long run. They increase Valor, Agility and so on. In practical terms HP, Damage, Damage reduction etc. One level + 1 point of Valor etc. You can see the change if you click on equipment window.  |

Takatori, a workshop castle S-SE of Osaka, had a bandit ambush today. All enemy units are lvl 5 while I'm at lvl 1.
Kept choosing to save him. The victory condition is to defeat all bandits (and keep the blacksmith alive).
Either you get wiped out or the target unit runs from you and falls too early without support (Turn 4-6).
If you choose to leave, Hattori Hanzō surrounds your troops with his ninja corps and I left because I knew turn 6 without ninjas was my limit.
All enemy troops feel tougher today. Maybe Tenkabito does scale with player progress.
All lvl 5.

I think we’re also expected to reach the edges of that diamond. The enemy generals I’m going up against in tenkabito are all like rank 4 and lv28 with great gear, atleast compared to mine. And I’m guessing that unit level is gonna go up to like 20 or something too. The units I go up against right now are all lv 12. Thankfully I have a human brain and the AI has an AI brain. So I’m still cruising. |

Yeah instead of waiting for a golden general I went for the elite samurai as suggested. For the moment that let me pass several stages in campaign and tenkabito. I wasnt sure since only one general picks a single unit type but Hideyoshi butchery is enough. I do also suggest going for the elite samurai unless you have other golden generals.

I cannot see the info as we did earlier in EW7 where one could check the special weapon and unit?

It difficult to say so far what bonuses it has to command a special unit, but you will see golden swords on the icon of this unit instead of grey ones. |

This game is not my current focus so I currently just plan to accumulate daily resources. Ban Kin is the medal equivalent so I purchased Nobunaga for his 25 Ban Kin per day.

Some -Hime cities can be taken by force. I faced lvl 7 enemies today for 37 cities owned. Given that I faced lvl 5 enemies around 26 cities, perhaps the ratio is city number divided by 5?
For the eastern wonder, it cheaper to build Hamamatsu and Sunpu (40k coins each) than to approach from Tsutsujigasaki (80k alone, ignoring the cost of Sunpu). |
