Mixed feelings about the new Tankabito map. I've almost completed it, cause everything you really need is just a lot of gold

New gear is totally expensive. 3.7k broken blades. Woah. Everything is really expensive. They added like ten units that you have to buy for bankin and a lot of them costs 2000+. I only recommend getting the Liaodong Heavy Cavalry for now, though there is an incentive to get every single one.

Based on the feedback I got so far, Ma is Shigehide level, Li is best F2P cavalry, Lu is best archer. Sun and Liu aren't good. Liu doesn't stand out among the purple cavs and Sun doesn't offer anything else other than damage (Ujiyasu has movement, Musashi can attack again), which means he's pretty much Sorin level. I don’t really see how Liu isn’t good, Any cavalry general with 5 adapt, an attack active, cavalry mastery and 90+ base valor is going to be good. I’d say he’s on the same tier as Keiji, Tadakatsu, Katsuie. He’s probably a bit more conquest focused than campaign/tenkabito since he’s better against lower HP units due to his active instantly refreshing when he gets a kill with it. The only thing I can think of if that he’s kinda hard to incorporate into your lineup since he doesn’t have special gear. I’m thinking that Sun would probably do good in the Martial Arena, but I agree, I’ve not really gotten much use out of him. I don't know... Sun's active skill "Thunderbolt" looks quite promising especially taking into account than many OP enemies don't move at all... Updated: Ah, the trick is that his active can't affect a square with a general. You really need to push or to pull an enemy general into it.

Honestly, I prefer if the format was reverted to the previous version when viewing troops.
There are non-Japanese common troops, and it's better to classify them according to rarity rather than having to browse all the Japanese ones first.

It’s worse than that though. Since you can’t push Martial Arena bosses and enemies standing inside city centres. And they only take one hit of that, it’s not like they continously take -15% HP and -20 morale while standing on it.

Why cant I refine gear? How much refinment stones do I need?
I have only 2 but it doesn't say smth like "you need X amount to refine". There's just nothing, I click on the button and it's not working.

Ohh my bad. You need to click on the refinment first and then refine. That was not really obvious.

I was looking through the new sets and there seem to be 8 new sets added, all 4 piece.
Each of the 3 new gold generals get one, interestingly Sun's set, loyal and valiant hero, seems to be fully F2P, though expensive.
Lord Chungmu's blade comes with Yi, and Liaodong Regional Commander's blade from the battlepass
Swift thunder and Imperial guard are also fully f2p. Imperial guard is weird because its treasure increases war gear adaptability but the set bonus buffs counterattacks. Also its horse is duplicated in the paid battlepass.
The other 3 sets aren't open yet.
Based on the descriptions, lord protector will belong to Qi Jiguang, Prince of Yanping to Koxinga and Hidden dragon to Taiji, the first Qing emperor.
