Imperial Guard armor is a reward, I didn't finish that training because I don't have SN, but I finished all the others so only that armor remained as a possible reward. |

That's right, Imperial Guard set is not F2P because of Shadow Ninja, Swift set is F2P, armor is obtained after completing Senior Inf Training. |

Thats an unnecessary hindrance from ET. Paying some real money is no problem for many people but purchasing bankin was never a good idea. If you can, you buy premium pass and iap generals and maybe some items thats all. Purchasing bankin is way overkill.

Based on the feedback I got so far, Ma is Shigehide level, Li is best F2P cavalry, Lu is best archer. Sun and Liu aren't good. Liu doesn't stand out among the purple cavs and Sun doesn't offer anything else other than damage (Ujiyasu has movement, Musashi can attack again), which means he's pretty much Sorin level. I don’t really see how Liu isn’t good, Any cavalry general with 5 adapt, an attack active, cavalry mastery and 90+ base valor is going to be good. I’d say he’s on the same tier as Keiji, Tadakatsu, Katsuie. He’s probably a bit more conquest focused than campaign/tenkabito since he’s better against lower HP units due to his active instantly refreshing when he gets a kill with it. The only thing I can think of if that he’s kinda hard to incorporate into your lineup since he doesn’t have special gear. I’m thinking that Sun would probably do good in the Martial Arena, but I agree, I’ve not really gotten much use out of him. Keiji's Isolated Combat makes him stand out amongst the 4. Tadakatsu had Ikki uchi and Master of Charges, marginal but they do offer something. Katsuie is regarded as weakest of the old 3. Liu's Hit Back allows him to hit hard at low HP or morale. It's a bit more dangerous but if you can handle it then he'll be good. |

That’s what’s remarkable about him. I don’t really think these differences are that meaningful tbh. Cavalry is arguably the best unit type next to Teppo so you’d probably get tons of use out of these guys either way. |

Before the Expeditionary Army event (higher recruitment probabilities for Li and Sun) expires I have tried something and wanted to share. I had 9k bankin most of which earned after the update, and I have purchased 15x10 magatama. Then I ve spent these on the event recruit to pull 4-Sun,1-Li and 1-Hojo and load to previous save. Now if our one year old deduction on the general recruitment is still valid, I should be able to pull these fragments in the coming months. Dont know if the idea is solid or not but I have 6* on all gatcha generals prior to update, so this is what I have thought of for the current roster. I will comment on this when I actually spent a magatama.

In addition to what jonblend said above the major updates can erase the line as well. Not sure about GCS but major updates of EW7 surely do it. |

Yeah this seems to be the case indeed right now but I recall at the release pulls were fixed most of the time. We were only able to change the outcome through several reloads but now I keep getting different golden generals. Sun and Li seems to be banner dependent and I am getting someone else in their stead(pulled akechi and ieyasu instead of 2-Suns).Being banner dependent is the key apparently because I am getting the Hojo still at the exact order. So yeah in short we the banner generals arent fixed after the event deadline, gonna wait for the next event. Thanks for the heads up. |

Does anyone know who owns the Swift Thunder and Imperial Guard sets? I've been checking and they don't seem to correlate with any of the new generals. Maybe it's hinting new generals? I know Nurhaci is coming, as well as Qi Jiguang and Koxinga.

I’m pretty sure they straight up don’t correspond to any generals at all. No gen would benefit from every boost from those sets. And they don’t appear in the Stockroom despite being 4 piece sets. Also, you can continously craft the Xun Lei Chong.  I think I’d do the Embroidered Spring Knife instead if that holds for that one too.  |
