It was quite a long time ago I have read about Sengoku Period, but one parable is still fresh in my mind.
Three warlords were asked what to do if a singing bird refuses to sing...
Oda Nobunaga was known for his fierceness and cruelty and thus would answer, “Kill it.”
Toyotomi Hideyoshi was the most cunning and would therefore coyly say, “Make it singing.”
Tokugawa Ieyasu was the most diplomatic and patient so he would most likely say, “Wait for it.”
I really hope they won't neglect religious aspects of Sengoku. Countless countdowns between different monasteries, between monasteries and different houses, ikko ikki rebels and Christian Daimyo greatly influenced the epoch.
