I'm rooting for Jebe and the ArchComs Though Nobunaga and Nelson will be missed, (the chance of) not taking counterattack dmg and buffs is a huge bonus. A wise observation for the final archers trail. So many times I thought about how much I could've used them!

How much attempts did you need to work out a strategy and for all the luck based elements to align? From the previous week's video where I already had 2* in 20 turns, I'd say around 20 more attempts! The final piece of the puzzle was having enough firepower activated and positioned appropriately to take out Alex, Cleo & Hannibal quickly enough in order to get Li H & Hua in place to join in against Richard.

How are you getting on stoic ? We haven't heard from you for a while. In case you missed this week's video I'm currently stuck at the penultimate hurdle.

How are you getting on stoic ? We haven't heard from you for a while. In case you missed this week's video I'm currently stuck at the penultimate hurdle. My main problem always was that I firmly believe I can kill two birds with one stone. Sometimes even more than two Theoretically I know it is a good way to fail in competing both things, but on practice I am usually over-excited about new big updates of other ET games and curious to test them out. And since big EW5 updates are not so common nowadays, I naturally divert my attention elsewhere. So, it is not that easy competing neck and neck with someone like you, my friend, who is fully concentrated on one game alone. It is said it was the difference between Plato and Aristotle when the former was digging up deep while the latter wide. So, I put EW5 on hold for now. I only complete daily missions on rare occasions. I am still watching your videos though and fully aware of your attempts to get 3*. And I am confident you'll achieve this sooner or later. It was an amazing run regardless. My condolences for England's loss, btw. It was close

However, the way it's going at the moment I may still be stuck at the same stage when you do eventually turn your attention back to EW5 As for the football, I'm old enough to have learned not to get too invested in England's fortunes at major tournaments

When we just started the challenge no-one (including me) believed that it is possible to complete the game with blue/gray generals. So, this achievement alone will stand the test of time. Yet, I still have faith you can find the way to complete all Infantry missions with 3 stars. ET games are just about it: if you stick around long enough - good things are going to happen eventually. I recall I played Operation Bagration (it was GoG Classic one of the oldest ET games) no less than 50 times before getting the last 5th star. I don't know whether this example was encouraging or the opposite but I think you get the picture
