Iron Duke Do you plan to buy such items as Emblem of Washington, Shield of Achilles and such?  Well, buying any equipment is still quite a long way off for me, but I expect to start with the legendary sets and golden mask as usual, probably energy ring too. After that, who knows, maybe we'll need everything available  |

saw ur vid, Iron Duke,, and you have a strong team I must say, but how do u expect this team to beat the world war campaign? also are there any rules of thumb you two have in mind when assigning equipment to your generals? similarly are there any rules of thumb when u are playing the campaigns? I am barely able to three star the campaigns in gunpowder with my inf team, how do u go abt it? |

I said at the start I wasn't sure about that, so we shall have to see!also are there any rules of thumb you two have in mind when assigning equipment to your generals? I tend to give the best kit to the front rank as they're in the thick of it and usually receive the most hits and do the most retaliating. I also like to give Mystletainn to an archer to maximise the splash damage.

Not sure how to answer this, but bear in mind that when you hit the next age they will be much easier to get 3* in, i.e. industrial in this case but that holds true throughout the game until the final age so it's not a major concern until then. At that point it can just come down to fine tuning once you have completed it for 1* or 2*, but sometimes you need to plan when to activate your commander and active skills for maximum effect. |

Your chances are fairly high  As we know, there are ups and downs in RL, desire for idleness and, on the contrary, busy days when we can't even complete daily missions on time and so on. In this situation some losses are inevitable. As Stalin said once: "Both we and Germany made plenty of errors, now let's see who will make his last error first" After 200k points in arena it is rather difficult to advance without carefully choosing our opponents. And you need time for it. So, I believe, we are pretty close in our achievements. |

It is early to say it with confidence but (and I think Iron Duke could confirm it) there are definitely good chances that our generals will demonstrate an outstanding performance in all modes of the game. Not sure about trials (though I am looking forward to Archers' trial with a certain degree of optimism) but in campaigns it is definitely possible to form up a capable team out of blue/gray generals. |

stoic,but does it not hurt to always have at least one healer to make sure your weak team does not fall apart? I mean certain skills are good, but overall its a team with much lower stats

I mean certain skills are good, but overall its a team with much lower stats It is compensated to a certain extent by their price including upgrades of their third skills. Usually you leave them alone, skills like Marshall, General, Master of Defence and such. They are very expensive if we are talking about top tier generals - Li Shimin, Caesar, Suleiman etc. But in case of Mulan, Catherine, Petain, Hannibal, Joan, Li Hongzhang, Jebe the prices are reasonable to upgrade these skills as well. Plus, since the overall amount of medals is significantly lower than we usually spend on gold/purple tier generals we can afford better equipment for our generals. Just one example. I already have both Mask and Energy ring. Usually I couldn't afford such a luxury so early in the game.   |

I too am thinking of going for the mask soon so I can give it to Pachi when he's awakened, but I'll probably leave the ring til last. I decided to buy the ring first exactly because it is the least appealing option. When it is in the pocket I don't contemplate anymore: Do I really need it? Do I really want to purchase it? The item is not that bad. So, my strategy now is to buy most expensive items because I find it psychologically uncomfortable to save up more than 4000. It's like playing conquests: It is a bitter pill to swallow but you have to swallow it nonetheless |

Btw, there is one opponent in arena nowadays I hate to stand against. Namely Subutai. The guy is more dangerous and illusive than Washington. I have lost a couple of fights when indicator of the battle was in my favor. He can turn the tables in the blink of an eye.
